As long as they can keep bringing in the federal bucks … they will be loved.

The good people of Mass. must be really, really big left wing liberals, I agree. On the other hand, I guess Teddy is good about bringing in the money for the state.

Like the 'big dig' project!

There seems to be a few Democrats that are ready for "retirement." Byrd, Kennedy, Tim Johnson, Patrick Leahy, "Dingy Harry" to mention a few.

Nah, not Teddy. He's a picture of perfect health.

THAT'S WHY WHEN A FAT DRUNK PROPOSES LEGISLATION LIKE THIS, WE ALL NEED TO PAY ATTENTION. Because when one thinks of health, Ted Kennedy is the first thing that pops into our mind:

FDA Regulation of tobacco products. Smoking is the number one preventable cause of death in America. Empowering the Food and Drug Administration to regulate tobacco products is long overdue. Effective FDA regulation will help to deter young people from starting to smoke and to assist current smokers in quitting. Senator Kennedy authored FDA legislation to give the FDA this authority. It passed the Senate twice but was blocked by the House Republican leadership. Enacting this important public health legislation should be a top priority for the new Congress.

Thank you devolve. Can't take credit for making that one but it's easy to put words with a graphic. True words.

Teddy could just roll across the page, lol.

He could help by making a one time donation out of his personal fortune to all those who work for minimum wage. (Along with the rest of his liberal wealthy cronies who claim they are so worried about the *poor*)

Make it a gift to avoid the taxes and viola' problem solved. The people will have more expendable income that isn't going to be taxed than anything they would have gotten with that raise, companies won't have to cut back on the number of employees to stay in business, and they wouldn't have to raise prices to be able to afford to pay the new wage, thus eating up any benefit of the raise.

Instead, he wants to look like the hero by forcing everyone else to do it.

For his information, there are many places we know that are already paying more than minimum wage.

Teddy... you should have taken Dean Wormer's advice.

I heard this f-tard on Rush's show today...how absolutely damn funny was it to hear Fat Teddy whining about the Republicans doing the same thing that the Dims did when THEY were in the minority.

And I don't doubt for a momnent that the Donkeycrat party will go nucular (and of course, the ArseKissing media will call it honorable and principled, and BigByrd will wave his version of the Constitution around when he takes 2 hours to say five words about it).

Good point. Most of the people working for minimum wage are HS students. I remember working for minimum wage in High School. I drove to my job at Burger King in a European luxury sedan that my boss couldn't afford.

Real fulltime jobs with responsibility, that require any semblance of skill or experience (you don't have to be an Ivy League grad to be valuable) pay 5X minimum wage. But heck, that's Socialism for you. Just slack off and the left wing Gubmint will take care of you regardless:
