President Bush held a news conference this morning in the East Room of the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007.

The entire text of his remarks and the Q & A session, complete with a video link can be found here. I might add, the text is really worth reading in its entirety. I will post a couple of highlights, including the smackdown of one particularly obnoxious reporter.

After a luncheon with SoD Gates, President Bush greeted and met with Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in the Oval Office of the White House. The text of their remarks can be read here.

I don't know if the photographer got nervous probably he did but I think Miss Beazley probably look to India the first tabby as brother she didn't have before

Barney is her sidekick while India is like quiet older brother who you go to advice

That is terrible I hope it does not ultimately caused the DOD to ban email as I am certain it has been a great morale boost for the men in service but this turn of events obviously has the reverse affect.

snugs, did you know that a gorgeous Springer Spaniel named James won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club yesterday? I was rooting for him, for many reasons, not least Spot and Millie, and I am so glad he beat the poodles, especially!

just got in & VERY CHILLY here.. house is down to 45. Mom's area is about 60.... I will work out a way to camp out there.. 45 is a little too cool for me although I always say I like to sleep in a cool room!

will check out all tomorrow ... for now must feed all pets, mom, set up new space heaters & try to sleep..

Jewels, what I think would get Rush's attention would be for Ross to send the email. Rush loves to hear from our heroes, and I suspect a GI return addess on the email would get better attention.

Hey snugs..........don't want to be a pest, but did you ever find that super intense embrace picture of the First Couple where Laura has a white suit on?

You used it in a collage, but I would LOVE to have it full sized.

I wonder how they ever got the cat to sit between two dogs and not move. She didn't much like Miss Beazley slurping her face, did she? The photographer must have worked very hard to get that shot. And it's a beauty.

I wonder about meat in most of the mixutres.. often they are in languages I can't have a clue on.
