The same thing happens in Virginia almost every day ... hmmm, I wonder if this happens elsewhere?

Changes in Solar Brightness Too Weak to Explain Global Warming

The only plausible connection between planets is solar irradiance. But there are other solar effects like modulating the cosmic ray flux that could have an impact here, but not the other planets. I think we should drop this "all the planets are warming" fad and move on to serious science.

You know--I'd forgotten that Jupiter was developing a new storm spot. I wonder how we humans are managing that?

Bush's fault. If not his then Cheney's.

"the majority of climate scientists and astrophysicists agree that the sun is not to blame for the current and historically sudden uptick in global temperatures on Earth, which seems to be mostly a mess created by our own species"

This is the money quote. Not only do scientists agree that man is causing the warming, but something so "insignificant" as the fargin' SUN couldn't POSSIBLY be contributing? What the hell! Now I know this whole theory is crap.

Only during the day.

Report Indicates Global Warming May Be Worse than We Think

Two new reports indicate that the global warming problem may be more widespread than heretofore thought. One report from National Geographic News asserts that temperatures on both Earth and Mars have been rising. Data from NASA’s Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey mission in 2005 disclosed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps” near Mars’ south pole are shrinking.

The other report indicates that cosmic rays from exploded stars are decreasing. This is causing fewer clouds to form and allowing more sunlight to hit the planet, raising temperatures.

Former vice-president and internationally acclaimed climate expert, Al Gore, cited the reports as further evidence in support of drastic action aimed at cooling the planet. “It was bad enough when just the Earth was affected, but now it looks like the entire solar system may be in danger,” Gore proclaimed. “There is no time to lose. We must act before it is too late.”

Gore suggested that a “global climate czar” be appointed from among a list of persons nominated for both an Academy Award and Nobel Prize for work on climate change. “We need someone with the authority to brush aside the barriers to immediate action,” Gore said. “We can’t afford to allow a nostalgic reverence for archaic notions of property rights and individual freedom to be used to block the steps necessary to save the Earth. Everything and everyone must be strictly controlled if we want there to be a planet here for our grandchildren.”

Actually, it now turns out that the Sun is getting Warmer!

This can only mean one thing: Man is heating things up SO MUCH, that we are causing global warming not only to the outer reaches of the solar system, but to the innermost too!

Boop, don't believe in the first place a "majority" of any "scientists" believe this.

The global warmers always talk with the power of fake authority that some "majority" supports their majority.

Write the author, ask him what the basis of this "mojority" statement is.

I'm worried less about global warming than I am about Al Gore.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see an objective breakdown of what qualified scientists think about "Man caused Global Warming?"

For a start here is a petition signed by over 17,000 scientists disagreeing with "Man caused Global Warming."

Sorry, it's not the SUV's. It's CO2. All the heat those 400 ppm are releasing into space is heating up the other planets. And if we continue to dump more CO2 into the atmosphere we will cause the sun to burn up. At least that's what the computer model tells us. I think we should donate more money to DC in the name of CO2.

Only during the day.

It also happens during the morning and evening, just to a lesser extent.(At least in Wyoming.)

It shifts to more in the evening when daylight savings time is started.

Actually, I blame Al Gore. Since the Sun and all the planets in the solar system revolve around HIM, then it stands to reason that Global Warming is due to the gravitational field he exerts on all these bodies. So, if the Sun is heating up, its effects are exacerbated by Al Gore's gravitational pull.

Its also quite possible that Al Gore's pull is so strong, that it could be creating a black hole that would suck in the entire galaxy--starting with our tax dollars. Certainly, his awesome personal magnetism has already caused thousands of scientists to abandon the scientific method.

Further, blaming the mars warming on its Milankovitch cycles seems far-fetched to me.

Is it just me or do Milankovitch cycles remind you of Ptolemaic epicycles?

We have officially become STUPID. People actually asking whether or not the sun is responsible for heating our planet. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
