How will NBC fill the air time? They need a sensitive pc-leftist to take over the space..... I nominate Rosie O’Donnell plus Al Sharpton!! They would be the perfect tag-team of demented leftist viciousness and their hateful and dishonest remarks would not cause any trouble with advertisers because everyone is soooooo tolerant of their schtick.

Hello! Bingo!

Everyone saying Al etc. This show represents 24 percent of sales and when the big boys pull out and do not want their brand affilliated with the show, the market takes care of the problem.

It doesn’t matter whether or not Imus is a conservative- and I’m not defending him, his show, or his cavalier attitudes..I don’t even like him.

What I think is of importance- is that Imus is being used as a scapegoat. The man has been saything these kinds of things for YEARS..and worse. Nothing ever happened to him...except he made lots of money for MSNBC...and gave an open forum for some politicians. He’s said WORSE about blacks and women..and yet Al Sharpton continued to remain silent...why NOW?

"this whole thing is ridiculously overblown PC BS.

exactly, omg, I'm so sick of it....and I actually watched him in the AMs - the only reason I had MSNBC on...now, it's OFF in my house.

By rights, we never should have seen Al’s face on tv again after his hymietown comments.

Probably already pointed out but I believe the HYMIETOWN comment was Jesse Jackson's.

Imus got what he deserved.

He celebrated in the destruction of Scooter Libby.

He has said hateful things about the President and Vice President.

He has sucked up to EVERY media liberal elite. Earlier this week he ahd Bill Maher on to trash the President to try to cover his base. Didnt work!

And at Imus moment of weakness, where did it get him? No where. The Democrats (Obama, Hilary) that he so loved did not come running to his rescue. Republicans were more understanding.

I hope Imus remembers that now that his career has been cut short by the PC police. He got what he deserved. Let this be a lesson to anyone who sucks up to Democrats.

Let’s look at this...yes, Imus has a ton of cash...but, can he continue to fund the ranch on his own? I don’t think his pockets are that deep. A comment that will forever haunt him and his family...sad.

I wish MSNBC would have kept him on because there’s nothing like watching an excommunicated liberal in a pack of liberals.

You’re simply wrong, and you’d realize it if you’d only consider the bigger picture and the lasting effects of this feeding frenzy.

Okay, let's start with the basics:

1. You asserted that our 1st Amendment rights have been infringed

2. The 1st Amendment limits the government - not private employers

3. The government has taken no action with regard to Imus

Nw do you understand why you're wrong?

Just noticed your tagline. Wanna trade? You can be sans reproache for a day or two? Be part of a long tradition? LOL. I almost got the hook today myself. Its only a matter of time, I suppose.

There's going to be a lot of people who's only use for PMSNBC was Imus.

You got that right. I just turned them off permanently.

Where will Gregory go now for face time in the morning? Fineman? Matthews? Kerry? The other liberal journalists at CBS and NBC?

Don't forget the old drunk Maureen Dowd...
