Tucker just read a news flash, announcing that they will no longer simulcast Imus at all, anymore.

Just wow. Thankfully, psmnbc’s viewer ship is practically nil.

It's like I noted last night, people I talked to, had heard about this until the Rutger's press conference yesterday.

When I watched Hardball, Steve Capus (NBC News President) to me looked like a cowardly weasel. This whole incident will spell the end of MSNBC, and if CBS radio dumps Imus, that'll be a big hit to their bottom line as well. Imus brings in 25% of their revenue, and he's been their only cash cow ever since Stern jumped ship for satellite radio.

I totally agree that an employer has the right to fire for cause, or maybe for any cause, but it’s disturbing that pressure groups like Al Sharpton’s cronies and Jessie, who is well-known for extorting companies with threats, have so much influence.

Not to mention The Hillary and The Magic Black Man.

Well, KO is a notorious homosexual nutcase. I would half expect him to take out some kneepads and give Jackson one for the road.

When Imus shows up on satellite radio, I suspect KO will be the first person he goes after. Rush will get a great laugh out of this. Jackson though he could go after Rush before, until he tried to find out who Rush worked for, so he could pressure them. Then he found out that Rush's only boss was Rush.

John & Ken were playing (reading) some of the black rap songs that the kids are listening to...FAR worse than ANYTHING Imus said.

I think that is what I heard, some were on Napster for a while, didn't know it was DAC though.

I thought he used a pseudonym for that stuff.

Really, I can't figure this out either. Fox sports show? Well, as Rush always says sports show hosts are some of the most liberal people out there. I remember that Imus once had a collapsed lung and that's probably what they were referring to, really nasty though. He doesn't deserve to die for his words, for Heaven's sake.

I guess CBS will fire him, too, as one of their board members was a former big wig at the NAALCP.

Olbermann should be fired for all his hateful
racist comments...Every time he opens his mouth
he insults the intelligence of the entire human race.

Yes, everyone is saying Imus has no audience.

But he was a big deal for MSNBC in the morning and (I think) rated higher than all cable news except Fox.

I could be mistaken about that, but he was definitely their big draw.

Oh horrors! MSNBC’s ratings will be cut in half. No one will notice, because half of zero is still zero.

Conservatives excoriated Jim Zumbo in the same way. Call the sponsors, attack his magazines...

It’s a sad state of affairs, and all brought to you by the marxists. Did we all forget where political correctness came from? (glock quick googles lennon... aw crap... yoko)

We eat our own, they eat their own. I won’t bother, but DU is probably relishing as well.

Ya got yer BET. How come there ain’t no WET? Well, it’s because there’s too much whitie guilt ain’t been espressed over the past. It’s taught in yer public schools. To Je$$e and Al Browley, t’ain’t never gonna be nuf. Even to the little crackers bein born since Al Gore Sr. voted against civil rights. Never nuf. And I’ll tell you what...

Bill Cosby is the greatest black American ever lived.

What’s more, all you crappy headed media ho’s can kiss me.

I cannot agree with this, inasmuch as Rosie “Rattlermouth” O’Donnell never seems to have any backlash for her insults and stupid verbal hurls.

I agree that any company has the right to hire or fire anybody, but this has been blown entirely out of proportion.
No backlash for Sharpton and the T Brawley mess.
No backlash for “Rev” Jesse Jackson and his children out of wedlock.
No backlash for the missing money in Rainbow and Push against Jesse Jackson.
EVERY Rap “artist” uses words I don’t use, and I can swear like a drunken sailor. There is no amount of interference from parents or recording labels in the lyrics of “music” that is happening, and the “music” is more than foul.
Blacks are making millions in the NFL and the NBA, and their behavior is straight thuggery. Finally, they are getting set down for run-in’s with the police and the justice system—far overdue.
Rosie’s mouth never stops and everybody fawns at her feet.

What a seriously flawed group of idols on pedestals we have in this country.

I don’t think Imus deserves all this punishment. It is way over the top.

Has anyone posted a picture of Cynthia McKinny and her nappy hair? I would but don’t know how to post pics.

Open up a window for a Create Mail on your Outlook Express...

Put your mouse on the image (at whatever site)  and hit the right button on your mouse.

Then where it says PROPERTIES usually at the bottom, right click on that......

Where it says address....copy the address       Address usually starts with http, and ends with jpg or gif

For the image above, the address is     http://www.newcounterculture.com/log/graphics/cynthia_mckinney.jpg

When your new E-mail window is open, click on the "Insert" button at the top tool bar.....

Then go to "source" at the bottom tool bar, and click that button....

Copy everything that is from "Body" at the top to  to "Body" at the bottom...including the word "body" at both ends....

Paste the addy which is on your clip board into the little box that says "picture source.

.It is actually quite simple.

Then paste it all into the FR comment box.

Here below is what the above mess looks like in code........

Imus was the only thing keeping MSNBC afloat. Those aren’t my words, those are the words of the NBC News president.

I think it’s very plausable. Al S. and JJ are most assuredly in her corner. Who knows what’s said and goes on behind closed doors. They’re smart enough to recognize a opportunity when it’s handed to them on a silver platter. He’s always been outspoken about what he thinks of her. I personally would have hoped his outspokenness against her would have intensified, as I cannot stand her as well. So...think about it...at the rate things are going, he could be finished for good...at least on commercial radio.

“Well, that’s bad, but Bush is a professional politician, Imus insulted a bunch of college kids with an obvious racial slur. Imus had the right to say it, but I think the college kids also have a right to be offended, and NBC has a right to fire him.”

A lot of these cases are blown out of proportion, but not this one.”

These young ladies have been around long enough to know that it is a moment in time. A mere moment that while it shouldn’t have happened did, and that it doesn’t reflect reality. They may be nappy headed, but hos is probably inaccurate. Hoever, what will they do when called something else, like “bitch”? Cause a stink? I don’t think so. The classy thing would have been to just shluff it off by considering the source. They know the truth.

This has nothing to do with NBC having the right to fire him, but everything to do with sacrificing him on the altar of political correctness. They caved into the so-called Black leaders, just as the sponsors did. These people are extortionists, pure and simple, with the proof in their call for Imus to be replaced by a Black.

Now do you feel the case wasn’t blown out of proportion?

Okay, nap time.

There are quite a few blacks before Bill Cosby.

I hope you were joking.
