Does anyone want to consider this? OK it may sound dumb.

However, there is evidence that al Quida is recruiting whites and other non mid eastern looking people to commit terrorist acts. There are people all over Iraq blowing themselves up in crowded places.

Is it beyond the realm of belief that we now have people who go on massacres in places where lots of people congregate and just start shooting.

OTOH I am tired of seeing so called analyst come on TV and speak as if they know exactly what is going on and make stupid comments when they have no idea of what is happening. It is these people who cause media frenzy and get rumors going that never should see the light of day.

So, if the person of interest is not the shooter, why are they looking for the person of interest and what’s the connection? The Police Chief is not giving many details now.

How about this: The initial POI was not the shooter....either the cops were wrong, or they wanted him to question him about the shooter.

I can’t tell what’s going on here- but I think this guy is either mentally exhausted, or has not been brought up to speed, or is utterly confused.

Something isn’t adding up- but it’s possible we’re jumping to conclusions - at least I am- because this guy can’t communicate in a straightforward manner.

I don’t think they should be having these pressers until they have more information. The questions are annoying and so are the answers...because there just isn’t enough information yet. I feel bad for the chief trying to answer the questions; there are many in the press trying to lay blame on the university rather than the killers. Drives me batty.

they have an ID on the first one, they have a “person of interest” in mind who fits it, but they can’t find him. and his description doesn’t match the body of the second shooter.

am I hearing this right?

and the second shooter shot himself IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD? or, did two shooters go to the second location, and one of them shot the second guy in the back of the head and then walked away.

FV SAYS: LE lost track of the shooter in the first shooting. For some reason, there was an all clear even though the shooter's location was unknown. Should have been APB, not an all clear.

They assumed shooter was still in the dorm. He outfoxed them.
