I think the guy holding the press conference is trying to field questions without answering them and giving away evidence.
They have ruled out murder/suicide at the incident in the dorm.

This evening’s press conference is very PC. Very. Put a fork in it. They’re done.
Yes, they’re doing exactly that—but it’s now most “news” conferences are given. You come away from these things with at least as many questions as when you tuned in.

It sounds like they have a person of interest in custody that is not the same as the dead shooter. But its unclear; the speaker at the press conference is terrible.

Ok, maybe the person of interest was a witness to the first shooting or connected somehow, yet, not the shooter.

Seems to me the witness survivors and other witnesses could easily offer descriptions, to find out if it was one or two shooters.
They said they have a tentative ID on a shooter, but they are not saying who or revealing that information.
