However, there is evidence that al Quida is recruiting whites and other non mid eastern looking people to commit terrorist acts. There are people all over Iraq blowing themselves up in crowded places.

Is it beyond the realm of belief that we now have people who go on massacres in places where lots of people congregate and just start shooting.

No, and shooting would be the preferred method in the US, if they thought it would lead to a disarmed country with even more soft targets...

If true, there is still one killer on the loose. I want to know if the murderers were on a jihad. You cannot rule that out these days, until they rule it out based on evidence.

I disagree. How difficult would it have been to mobilize and have armed personnel at each building for the dual purpose of perp identification and capture, and to protect students [in what initially seemed remote] against the possibility that a fleeing armed felon having already displayed the capacity for murder to inflict future harm.

Certainly, one should withold judgment and refrain from casting blame while the bodies have yet to be buried and all facts made known. However, we who labor here and triangulate every which way pose these questions in search of answers.

Me too. The only guilty person so far is the shooter. The university did nothing wrong that I have heard so far unless they knew the guy was a criminal and invited him on the campus or something like it - and this is highly unlikely.

Thank you. Funny information. If Mohammed was the perp, they ran a driver’s license check. If he was a victim, his name would not have been on the scanner...Supposedly, the perp had no ID. Fingerprints? Dental Records? I saw the FBI at the school this morning.

This isn’t a high school. It’s a huge campus with a huge student population. Between students and faculty and staff there are probably more than 30,000 on campus.

Yes, and the university president is using this exact excuse......"We had no idea"....yadda, yadda yadda.... Frankly, when you hear a hundred or so gunshots........it might be the first give away.....I don't buy it...
