Sorry...there is a “person of interest” in the first shooting that is a different person from the dead shooter...but the “person of interest” is not in custody, nor at large. Strange. His initial comment made it sound like the person of interest was the first shooter, but he muddied that up later on. Maybe, maybe not.

I would have said I agree, however, the Police Chief just said they located the person of interest and interviewed him/her at the time of the second shooting. They are interested in this person because he/she knows the victim.

There are over 100 buildings on the main campus. If each building had maybe 6 exits, that would require 600 police or security personnel. To answer your question “How difficult would it have been to mobilize and have armed personnel at each building” I would say pretty darn hard.

He said the deceased shooter from Norris hall is NOT the POI.
Nor does the Deceased match the desc of the dorm shooter.
Then said they “interviewed” the POI but did not take him into custody.
So how I’m hearing this is there is probably a domestic in the dorm leads to 2 dead and the shooter gets away. But POI is interviewed later, but not arrested. He was found off campus.
Meanwhile the shooter from Norris Hall (the Chinese guy) is a seperate guy.
