My thought exactly. *IF* it happened as people are speculating, I'd have clued in by victim 2 or 3 and at least met my end on my feet.
An Engineering Hall will be populated mostly by male students (at least, while I was an Engineering student, they all were). We're not talking about a bunch of scared 14-15 year old kids hiding underneath library tables. We're talking 18-22 year old (mostly) males. Military age people here.
So....I'm inclined to think that there *must* be multiple shooters here at work, if for no other reason than to provide cover for each other.
If not, and it WAS just a single shooter, as people are speculating, what a society of sheep the MSM has created. Disarmed the campus, and conditioned its residents not to fight back. Or so it seems.

Emory police are DeKalb County cops -- Georgia State and Georgia Tech campus officers are city of Atlanta. At least in Emory's case, most of the cops are are veteran officers, because the campus gig pays more money for easier work and less danger -- it's almost a form of semi-retrement. I assure you, they're not a joke.
I've heard a lot of people of the opinion that campus police are one notch up from mall security, but that hasn't been the case at any campus I've been to.

This is a state matter and if the state needs help the feds could give it to them. All of that could be covered in a press release.
By having a press conference, the white house is just opening up the debate for more gun laws.

Yeah, that's the standard lib line tossed out. Folks are too irresponsible and it'll be just like the wild west. There's no truth to it whatsoever. It's not something a rational person would say. It's something a know it all feels inside. It's the std line of the selfish and immoral gun grabbers that don't give a damn about women being able to effectively defend themselves on campus against rapists use. Had someone chosen to effectively defend themselves, they could have put an early end to this nighmarish tragedy. It could have been a woman, whose motivation was to protect herself against the common rapist.

The first shooting was at ~7:23. The campus was already loaded with cops by the time the 2nd occurred. The bulk of those that were killed never got the benefit of police response. As is usual, hte polic showed up to count the bodies and are now investigating.
Disgusting opportunists - taking advantage of a tragedy such as this to push their agenda.

Press conference on Prager, spokesman said 2hr gap between 1st shooting reported and subsequent rampage. Maybe realizing he was gonna fry anyway he went back to take as many with him as possible? I’m skeptical of all reports since the ‘white guy in a van’ manhunt in the DC shootings.
