Having been there, I don’t think they do. I think they are just snooty to everyone,,like they are born with a little touch of a snooty attitude. I don’t think it is personal.

I would think that CNN, et al might have covered her speech, but I guess not. If Royal won, I am sure it would have been nonstop French Election coverage.

Why drink wine at all when we all need clear heads to live in times like this?

A glass of wine with dinner aids the digestion...

On another note, French anchor chick (I don’t know her name) isn’t bad looking.

Just my little ol’ opinion but the same people who hate us there hate us here: Muslims, Liberal elites, show biz types, unionists, and cacademics.

Ordinary people love us. There and here.

Good for France and good for the US, and especially good for Cincinna!

I hope Sarkozy pushes into the high 50% range and clearly wins a mandate.

His three main themes were:

- Work is necessary for prosperity

- Lower Taxes

- Law and Order

On those issues he’s arguably to the Right of the current Republican Administration — to say nothing of the ‘Rat Congress.

I get 19.8% higher for Sarkozy. In other words, he got almost 20% more votes than the other. Do your calculations agree with mine?

France may have been a disappointment to us re: Iraq, but they do have the largest non-US force deployed in Afghanistan. I remember the positives and the negatives.

I want France to be saved. I have a great uncle and a great great uncle buried there from the last two times we had to liberate them from oppression - I would like to avoid things getting to where I end up with a nephew buried there.

The only drawback to her losing the election. ; - )

Cacademics-—cacademia—cacamedician-—Cacademy-—it can be used in all word forms. For example the “bloated, overpaid, self important, stench filled cacademic sector”

Glad you approve...I’ve been using it for a several years...I should copywrite it.

And it fits perfectly.
