President Bush yesterday said Americans will soon realize they need the immigrants and foreign temporary workers that would have been allowed by his immigration bill, which was defeated in the Senate last month.
Mr. Bush, in a town hall session in Nashville, Tenn., also refused to say whether he will pardon two U.S. Border Patrol agents convicted of shooting a fleeing drug-smuggling suspect, saying the prosecutor was a friend of his who made his case to the jury that convicted the agents.
If Mr. Bush was hoping the immigration issue would disappear after his bill's failure, those hopes were dashed, as he was asked repeatedly about border security during the forum — meant to highlight his commitment to cutting the deficit.
"The bill failed and I can't make a prediction to you at this point, sir, where it's going to head," the president told one questioner. "I can make you a prediction, though, that pretty shortly people are going to be knocking on people's doors saying, man, we're running out of workers."
Mr. Bush said there are workers who will do jobs Americans aren't doing in the agriculture sector in particular, and without them the jobs will go unfilled.

That's considered FULL EMPLOYMENT.
The remaining 4.5% are simply UNEMPLOYABLE and would never hold a job...let alone take one.

Gov. Napolitano passed a law last month that employers who hire illegals will be fined (the first time) and will lose their business license after the second offense.
GA has already passed a similar law, and CA and many other states are close to passing the same.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio has repeatedly said that he will build tent cities all the way from Phoenix to the border to house anyone caught in his county illegally.
I think the bills need to be amended to allow prisons to put the inmates to work. I have always been apalled that every inmate costs the tax payers over $40,000 a year - while the able bodied law breakers get free room and board and do nothing meaningful in return.

First, this is a given that the math could be nothing but simple. However it is commonly known that the unemployment figures are B.S. and cannot stand up to scrutiny. Before you ask for a cite let me remind you that some things are self evident and to refute them a cite is not required.
For example, if I cite that all Americans smoke cigarettes you don't need a cite as we ALL know that all Americans don't smoke. If you want a cite go find it and try to find an honest one to refute my B.S. claim.

How many Americans are crime victims of illegals whether they are working or not? (we know from your posting history that your answer is 'yawn', DCprofiteer).
How many rapes by illegals are acceptable to you, DCprofiteer? How many illegal murderers is ok with you? Be specific, give us a number. Is 1,000 acceptable? Is 2,000 ok in your book? We'll assume that none of the victims are your family members and that you can continue to use illegal labor to run your own thing.

Yes, county and state for the sheriffs. It’s so out-of-control in Arizona that even the butch gov stepped up to the plate recently (as you know).
Exactly - the elites have their own acreage, private islands, beachfront property - behind gates. They don’t visit the state parks and national forests, once so much a part of America’s heritage, now ruined by tons of dirty diapers, communicable disease drugs, rape trees, labor-inducing drugs, plastic crap to kill the wildlife and cattle, and torn clothing.
Huge tracts of desert are now virtual battle zones, no man’s land, where cartels roam and Border Patrol helicopters chase them. Just this week, two more alien females dropped dead, leaving their ten-year olds. (And who was going to be paying for them if they made it to a sanctuary city?) Other, decomposing bodies surface weekly. Those who make it to a road are crammed into speeding SUVs and vans, and God help any of us who encounters one of those on the road.
As recently as eight years ago, I was still free to go throughout this area alone, unarmed. Now, if the commoners want to brave all that and come armed, we *might* be able to hunt, fish, hike, drive, or picnic in the lands we pay for.
The illegals know they will risk their lives crossing the border into that desert. But, the freebies are just to good to pass up, and they are desperate to escape their lives in a country that is totally corrupt.
I would say they should stay in their own country and work to make it better............ but then, look at us.
