Of course you can believe what Schemer says.
Gun control has been a signature issue of Schumer's career. I was aware of him before he became my Representative, and then to my chagrin, Senator. However, it appears getting power is even more important to him. He's dangerous, to say the least.
Schumer was head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Rahm Emanuel was his counterpart for the House with the DCCC. They both made a point of looking for RKBA candidates last year when they were trying to take over Congress. They succeeded. Schumer wrote a book saying that the neoCOMs needed to appeal to the middle class, the bourgeoisie, no less, in order to get power.
Power is the bottom line for him. If he loses HR 2640 because of over-reaching, he won't be a happy camper. He got on this particular campaign because a schizophrenic was able to buy a rifle on Long Island and killed some folks at a church.
Anti-gun is not a disadvantage in NY where most of the voters are as anti-gun as upChuckie. The leopard isn't going to change its spots. Gun control is as much a part of statist filth like Schemer and McCarthy as breathing.
