FindLaw ^

Posted on 08/21/2007 8:58:20 AM PDT by PurpleMan

Vick is accused of paying “approximately $34,000” for property located in Smithfield, Va. to train, breed, and house pit-bulls for dogfighting, and engage in dogfighting events with others.

The charges contain multiple allegations of abuse against animals, including that Vick and two co-defendants “executed approximately 8 dogs that did not perform well.” The executions were allegedly carried out in a variety of brutal ways, including “hanging, drowning, and slamming at least one dog’s body to the ground.”

My point exactly.

Most people have only heard what the gasbags have said.

Read and learn.

This is a sports superstar who happens to be a genuinely evil human being. May he never play football again, may he serve time in prison, and may he be shamed for the rest of his life.

No but I would guess they don't take the property of people who have not been convicted of a crime.

“George ‘The Killer’ Tiller, the infamous abortionist.”

I heard he was arrested the other day.

“they don’t take the property of people who have not been convicted of a crime”

Tell that to all the people who have their cars confiscated for soliciting a prostitute or trying to buy drugs. Under forfeiture laws, you don’t HAVE to be convicted. You must fight in court to get your property back after posting 10% of the value of the property that was forfeited. Convicted or not.

I’ll agree he is EVIL but he happens to be black, hence, black trash. Surely you’ve heard of “white trash”? Same difference.

I know of a female in Texas who has had 6 abortions. SIX. I don’t understand the outrage of hurting dogs, when we’re killing each other by the thousands every day.

"I do not understand why there has been no talk of Vicks Virginia property being forfeited. He purchased the property for the purpose of operating and maintaining an illegal dog fighting operation. People who try to pick up a prostitute get their cars confiscated, why not Vicks property?"

Reading from the link - it states that if the defendants are convicted they will have to forfeit any assets - property or proceeds obtained from the charges.

If you don’t understand the outrage over tormenting dogs, you got serious problems.

Give me a break. Tell you what, on the next thread where a person is facing federal fetus fighting charges and the execution of said fetuses then feel free to jump in with your post that. Until then, lets stay on topic and off your pet topics.

executed approximately 8 dogs

execute
3. to inflict capital punishment on; put to death according to law.
4. to murder; assassinate.
You can slaughter a dog, but you can't execute a dog. That is, unless you consider a dog to be a human being.

I’d save the life of a human, before a dog. (well, MOST humans, well some...never mind) sarc

If only the lamestream media could work up this much interest and perhaps even a little indignation at a scumbag like George ‘The Killer’ Tiller, the infamous abortionist.

Or any other abortionist, for that matter. Imagine the outcry over puppy abortion mills. The horror!

However, it seems that according to the law “execute” is the appropriate term.

Sorry you don’t like how it is used.

Vic is black trash

What does his skin color have to do with it?

Not a thing. If he were white, he'd be white trash.

Many serial killers and complete psychopaths start out with animals, then move on to humans. I agree with what you are saying; however, unfortunately one is legal in the country and one is not.
