Big Source of Clinton's Cash Is an Unlikely Address (Caught!)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 8/28/07 | BRODY MULLINS

DALY CITY, Calif. -- One of the biggest sources of political donations to Hillary Rodham Clinton is a tiny, lime-green bungalow that lies under the flight path from San Francisco International Airport.

Six members of the Paw family, each listing the house at 41 Shelbourne Ave. as their residence, have donated a combined $45,000 to the Democratic senator from New York since 2005, for her presidential campaign, her Senate re-election last year and her political action committee. In all, the six Paws have donated a total of $200,000 to Democratic candidates since 2005, election records show.

That total ranks the house with residences in Greenwich, Conn., and Manhattan's Upper East Side among the top addresses to donate to the Democratic presidential front-runner over the past two years, according to an analysis by The Wall Street Journal of donations listed with the Federal Election Commission.

It isn't obvious how the Paw family is able to afford such political largess. Records show they own a gift shop and live in a 1,280-square-foot house that they recently refinanced for $270,000. William Paw, the 64-year-old head of the household, is a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service who earns about $49,000 a year, according to a union representative. Alice Paw, also 64, is a homemaker. The couple's grown children have jobs ranging from account manager at a software company to "attendance liaison" at a local public high school. One is listed on campaign records as an executive at a mutual fund.

The Paws' political donations closely track donations made by Norman Hsu, a wealthy New York businessman in the apparel industry who once listed the Paw home as his address, according to public records. Mr. Hsu is one of the top fund-raisers for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign.

They won’t just let Hillary! off, they’ll cover for her. The Clintons are always given the “benefit of the doubt” by the MSM. Republicans, OTOH, are assumed to be guilty from the get-go and most prove their innocence, and even if they do, it doesn’t matter because they are still guilty (they’re Republicans, after all).

In 1996, however, Clinton facilitated the launch of American civilian communication satellites by Chinese rockets. This action benefited Liu’s employer, China Aerospace International Holdings, which sells missiles for the military.

Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) announced at the onset of last year’s campaign finance hearings he had information from intelligence officials of a Chinese plan to influence the 1996 elections.

“What we have here is apparently hard evidence of the execution of the China plan,” the Tennessee Republican said Friday.

“Everybody acknowledged and agreed there was a plan,” Thompson said. “The big debate was whether it was executed and whether it involved the presidential campaign. That debate is now over.”

Thompson said Chung’s statements “may be the tip of the iceberg, because a half-dozen other intermediaries were bringing money from China and other places.”

Sad but true.

After all the scandal and shame, is America really going to let them back in the White House? I still think she’ll evaporate on contact with real voters, like the EU constitution, or New Coke.

But if the worst happens we’ll be a banana republic. We can’t let that happen.

I almost WISH Hillary on the leftists silly enough to vote for her - they deserve to live under her policies. THAT would create more conservatives! But of course I’d have to suffer too.

Oh my.

NEVER FORGET

.

While the CLINTON White House was busy turning down free offers from the Sudan to give us our No. 1 terrorist enemy OSAMA bin LADEN on a silver platter during the mid-1990’s...

...the CLINTON White House was also busy receiving China Army Money in exchange for its pushing Long Beach, California hard into turning our precious U.S. Long Beach Navy Base over to the Communist Chinese.

Only the very public actions of local Citizen Activists, that helpled bring on advocacy through Sen. INHOFE in Congress, put a stop to it.

In a new time of war in a new century with our own Freedom now directly at stake right here at home...

...isn’t it about time for a Repeat..?

This latest revelation is just one more reason, among many, why each of us on FR must resolve that we will vote against Hillary! no matter what. I really, really, really hope that the Republicans will put up a candidate I can feel good about voting for. But even if they don't, I'm still voting against Hillary!, because if she moves back into 1600, we're not going to be around to argue about how so-and-so isn't 'conservative enough'.

$200,000 in Democratic campaign donations from this house!

I hate to admit it, but it is "theoretically" possible. According to public records, available on the web, the home was last sold in 1989 (presumably to the Paw's) for $260K. Homes on this street (one block from the Pacific Ocean) are now selling in the range of $672K - $788K. Here's the data I just looked up:

Home Value Estimate:
$672,016 - $788,889*
Street Address: 41 Shelbourne Ave
ZIP or City, State: DALY CITY, CA 94015
Property Type:
Single Family
Square Footage:
1280
Beds/Bath:
4/2.0
Built:
1959
Last Sold:
9/1/1989 for $260,000

URL for the above data:
http://www.homegain.com/cma/get_hv?entryid=9162&mod=1&addr=41+Shelbourne+Ave&csz=Daly+City%2C+CA&r=1

They have made a small fortune (on paper at least) on this little bungalo.

AFter the 1996 election, it was pretty clear China was participating in our electoral process in a big way and would continue to do so. Presumably this is just one of many straw donation addresses/names they use to fund money into the legit. political funds.

“These people are wealthy.”

If they are so wealthy why don’t they fix up the dump they are living in? and why are four grown children still living there?

Housing prices in California are beyond incredibly insane... Despite the looks of the house it’s the LAND underneath it that really counts! Also, these people could very easily have been living at this home for a good number of years — thus, why they could afford the mortgage on their home.

I’m not saying this absolves HIllary, or whomever the real donor is (if it’s not the Paw’s which it most likely isn’t). I’m just saying that looks are very deceiving when estimate a home’s worth — particularly in this area of California.

“$200,000 in Democratic campaign donations from this house!”

Hell, why would that surprise anyone...? Millions of dollars were donated to Democrats...namely Clinton...from Beijing.

Gifts are not income.

I did not word my response very well. What I was trying to say is the IRS should be checking the giver in this case because he doesn't appear to have enough income to give a gift of this size. In other words, the person IRS should be looking at is Mr Paw because he likely didn't pay taxes on the money he donated.
