I hate the mis-use of that word, “progressive”. Cancer is progressive too. It that a good thing?
That is what has always made liberalism so empty for me. I always asked the next question “what is best or correct”. Now we have them pushing hard to promote sexually progressive policies in schools that not only expose children to greater risk of STDS and death from aids but leave them with a greater difficulty producing faithful marriages and strong families. The left seems only to care that the children feel good in their debauchery not the least concerned about the real outcomes of the policies and ideas they promote.
One can go down the list of every issue that the left holds dear and perform the same analysis showing how disconnected their intentions are from the reality of result. They claim to promote the rights of individuals and then work their best to remove the economic means through taxation by which people earn their freedom.
And if you keep in mind that Stalin stated there would never be a revolt of the working class in America, that they needed to be converted through unions, big government, and academic-based social engineering, then it all makes perfect sense. The Left does not have the power or the numbers to overthrow America through evolution, so what they do is tear down the many pillars upon which our society is built. Among the ruins, they rebuild the country according to their Leftist designs. That is why the Left is in bed with Jihadist Islam: the Islamonazis are helping to tear down the Judeo-Christian and democratic roots of our nation (the enemy of my enemy is my friend).
Stalin is dead. His system failed. But the plans he put into action under FDR are still, incrementally, ‘progressing’ toward turning America into a Stalinist state. If Hillary wins, I guarantee that in less than two generations, America will be nearly indistinguishable from the USSR of the 1960s.
It is the armies of the bitter and faithless that they rely on. The hopeful and strong are of no use to those who see themselves as the ascendant kings of the world.
