Escalation has failed, only a political settlement can solve this and that time has been squadered. maliki no inclination to compromise-refusing to cretae a true Iraqi army and non sectarian police force-just empty promises. Not acting for Iraq as whole but front man for shiites including notoriuos militias and death squads.
That is so true. My nephew would participate in all these protests (while in his early 20’s) and some of these goofball groups pay the kids to come disrupt these events.
