The Vegas Baby speaks. Or rather whines. Or rather still — throws a tantrum.

To: Alas Babylon!

Orrin G. Hatch from NV’s neighbor is known for his warm endorsement of nominees of Democratic presidents so that he can show that he is “not partisan”.

It is my understanding that the recess appointments do not get a salary. Is that true?

Only after the first one...that's what would have happened with Bolton...first, paid. Second, not.

I thought that was J Edgar’s clandestine folly under LBJ.

Here’s my suggestion for AG replacement:

President Bush should nominate: NO ONE!

Appoint an acting AG, which is good for 200 days - and after that, appoint a second 200-day acting AG, and so on, until the end of his term.

Screw the Dems!

There would be nothing that they could do about it. Only the President can nominate a replacement permanent AG, and no one can make him submit a nominee to the Senate.

And he could continue to appoint (without the need for confirmation) acting AG’s at 200 days-each....

And lousy Harry Reid would have to choke on it.

Ted Olson lost his wife in the plane that hit the Pentagon. Now the PINKO SOCIALIST Hairless Reed, want to stop him from defending America. Why is Hairless still in office, and why are not the Republicans going after him.

Democrats are absolute scum.

Democrats are so deep in dishonor that they have to look up to terrorists for moral support.

The pinko lawyers will claim that fact is a conflict of interest every time a terrorist-linked individual in this country faces prosecution.
