Well I gotta give the guy credit for getting it right. No wimping out, no screwing it up, no excuses due to substandard materials or shoddy workmanship. Well done, sir.

Jeeze, why work so hard just to kill yourself? Step off a tall building, walk in front of a semi, whatever. Yeah but those could be painful, maybe quick but painful and not 100% guaranteed to work, where as a Guillotine would be quicker and probably not as painful, and 100% guaranteed to work. I guess we will never really know about the pain part though.

On one hand, it
is a horrible story.
On the other, one does have to admire the can-do attitude of a man who builds his own guillotine. There's a man who knew what he wanted and went for it.

He has to have a name for it. How about “The Mohamadizer” or “The Islamator”. I know they call woodchippers in Connecticut “ Craftmatics” after the Infamous Richard Crafts put his wife Helle Through one.

I hope she wasn’t alive ..... I remember and he got convicted on a fragment of bone found by a lake. How many copycats did he inspire?

“Prayers for this misguided soul.”
Yes, the poor man must have been greatly tormented to want to end his life at all, but to take all the effort to end it in that manner, well it makes it even more pitiful.

Maybe he was actually a prop man for a local movie company, and was in the process of function-testing a piece for an upcoming film shoot about the French Revolution.
