Hillary Clinton to speak at Rick Warren's church

Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) will join Rick Warren at his California church this month for an AIDS conference.

Warren says he has invited several other presidential candidates from both parties to attend his third annual Global Summit on AIDS, but Senator Clinton is the only one, so far, to confirm. According to a press release, others who have expressed interest and currently are dealing with scheduling issues include GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Rudy Giuliani, and Democrats John Edwards and Senator Barak Obama (D-Illinois).

According to Warren, "Inviting politicians from different perspectives to the Summit is not a political decision -- it is a humanitarian and Christian action." The Summit is scheduled for Nov. 27-Dec. 1 at Saddleback Church, Warren's church in Lake Forest, California.

Obama was one of the speakers during Warren's Global Summit on AIDS last year, as was Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) who last month withdrew from the GOP presidential competition.

Well let’s hope and pray that Rick shares the plan of salvation with Mrs. Clinton. It may be too late, as many times that surely she has heard it.

Yep. The View doesn’t seem to realize what they are reinforcing by always having a minimum three to one ratio with the ‘conservative’ always being on the short side. Same goes for that idiot midget, big time hypocrite, Bill Maher come to think of it.

I think so, too - some of the time. Sometimes I think they do realize what they are reinforcing but don't want us to think it. I got the distinct impression, as an occasional at best viewer, that after the departure of Star and with the addition of Rosie, they had wanted to turn Elizabeth into a work in progress - show the audience the 'silliness' of her conservative views and how to educate and change her into a good leftie. But she would have none of it. When the show first started, during the Clintoon years, they seemed to be a bit more fair and balanced, but, imho, it quickly turned from The View into THE View, as in only one 'correct' view.

Maher never really tried to present more than one viewpoint, and launched into attacks on any who disagreed, like Rosie. He seems to be one scary, mean, dark, sad person. Rosie, too.

But they hate it when we point out their obvious flaws! ;-)

Just because people say we’re cranky doesn’t mean we are wrong.

Anyone who quotes Dennis Prager on their Freepage is okay by me.

Yeah, hard to know what RW might have been thinking going to Syria. It would seem to legitimize this terror promoting country’s leader.

Will Hillary have a special accent when she speaks at this church?

Not the first time the devil attended church. In fact, he goes most Sundays...

NO I’m not, as church families we often work to accomplish material goals....we stop and pay the light bill, we have the local police share at camp about safety.....

That's not the same thing as inviting a mormon to speak in your church

Why AIDS anyway? Is no one else dying in California?

Nice try at avoiding the question. Try not to be insulting. Try to talk as if the person you are talking to or about is looking to you for an example of the Lord who saved you. The one who was your friend before you were His.

Warren lives a very modest life style, his money does go into the ministry. Do you know anything about Warren at all?

A Mormon can't speak at your church.....why not....? Are the people of your church so confused about the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that a Mormon talking about Aids would be a risk?

maybe aids because that is where the Lord has led, some people help alcoholics, some help the hungry, some help unwed mothers...

I think one these posters's tag line is one you should really consider. (Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light..... Isaiah 5:20)

That scripture cuts both ways....you better hope you are right about Rick Warren, because if you are not you have brought the "Woe" of God onto yourself.....
