Me. Didn't drink alcohol until I was legally allowed to.
I didn't complain about others using drugs/alcohol in my presence. I went to parties, I was offered, I politely refused, then continued to enjoy the party. People that didn't know me occasionally made a comment about me being a "narc" (or similar), but my friends would explain that I was cool with it.
Maybe she used 'em to get strawberries.
I didn't and neither did most of my classmates.
Man, in front of a High School crowd? Why not just say “Hey, go ahead and get stoned an piss away high school. You coud STILL become President someday.”

That is WAY past the definition of "experimenting". That is plain "using".

On the other hand, I would have had no trouble voting for Ryan, and wish he had stuck it out — he didn’t really do anything (his wife said no), and as scandals go it was nothing serious. I wondered if there was something more that never came out that led to him dropping out — or maybe he just decided he couldn’t beat Obama.

Wrong. I did it ONLY once. At first I thought I was having a good time, but before I knew it, I realized the people I was with weren't the people I thought I knew. I've never had an inclination to try it again, and I never will.
I've smoked pot, and I have to admit it was pretty harmless as far as my life was concerned, but I know there are some people who can't handle any drugs of any sort.
