The poster is kind of tiresome, actually. Those who aren’t talented enough to paint or sculpt or write something truly awe inspiring usually try to find some offensive theme to peddle their trash.
They might be able to peddle it, but it’s still trash.
Those wings look good!
As a Christian, seeing this just makes me want to cry. Maybe it’s because I’m tired of the Christian bashing that is so prevalent in our society today. Secular humanists are pushing God out of our society, and they mock him as they do it.
Mary is of course made into a sexual object as opposed to a woman made in the image of God, and she is concerned with something minor like food instead of Jesus Christ. One of the big tenets of a secular humanist society is sex. Secular humanists feel that sex and food are two of the main things that will sustain them in life. Christians know that while food and sex are part of life, the main focus and sustanence in life is Jesus Christ.
Christians will react peacefully to this abomination of art. It is the Christian way not to resort to violence. I would like to see them mock Muhammad in such a way. They would fear for their lives.
I know this will only get worse in time if God continues to be marginalized in society. Unfortunately for those such as this artist, they can’t marginalize God forever because they will face God someday and have to answer for these acions.
