CROSSFIRE: Witness in the Clinton Investigation
NOTE: Several years ago, I helped L.D. Brown with a book tour in Southern California. He was there to see the whole sordid mess of the Clintons and was trooper bodyguard for Bill for six years. L.D. never saw Bill use cocaine, because he would never put up with that in his presence. But he knew Bill used it. Some have wondered why George Bush has not pursued the crimes of the Clintons. I believe it goes back to the days of Mena, Arkansas, where large shipments of cocaine were being delivered by Barry Seal.

Reading the article,i had the feeling that Bush the father who was VP under Reagan was conned into believing all was well at Mena and with the Contras..Here the US was supplying arms and supplies to the Contras using Arkansas as a base of operations. That gave Clinkstone the Arkansas Governor/bandito opportunity to set his men up as the deliverers of the supplies-= and to be the importers of his coke—to feed his addiction-and to bring in the money !...oh yeah!... that’s why his plane stayed at Mena airport for hours..Bush the son knows that the Clinkstones have the goods on his dad, so he has to softpedal everything concerning the Slick pair...

Glad that L.D. Brown was able to get away from that and to keep a level head..This was a great post, thanks for the ping..It connects a lot of the dots. I had been suspecting that the Clinkstones had to have someone very close to them, literally at their fingettips at the WH, in order to exact such swift retribution. Here we learn that it was the head of the Clinks’ own Security Details that were at their beck and call...now the question is: in a future time, how would the FBI or DOJ issue WH Clearances to these people if these facts are known ?...there must be a mass hiding of their records and personnel files...oy, and to think that Heilarry could possibly become.....I can’t finish that sentence...it’s just too bizarre, but the truth must be told for America’s sake...UGH...But Thank you Doug and Ditter and fellow FReepers for keeping up the good fight..
We don’t know the whole story and never will, but there is something unnatural in the relationship between the Bushes and Clintons. Every attempt by Jayna Davis to get the Congress to hear evidence about the Iraqi connection of the OKC bombing is thwarted.
I like Mara personally, but her investigations generally don't pan out. My impression is that she now has some serious doubts about linking the Ives/Henry murders to Mena.
Linda Ives was so convinced it was tied to Mena.
I wonder if Nader is given the same deal. I say thank God for Nader in the 2000 election. Didn’t he take enough votes for us to win Florida? Can you imagine President Gore???

You may recall that the initial source of the Mena theory to Ives and Duffey was Detective John Brown. As a former prosecutor, Duffey should have been more critical in her evaluation of Brown's allegations. Here is an update on John Brown.

Well .. if you believe everything you read .. and everything you hear .. you can get a lot of garbage mixed in with a few drops of truth.
We need to be more selective about which books we read and who we listen to: I always investigate the person writing the book - I want to know what their motivation regarding the subject of the book. Are they really an expert on the subject or do they have an axe to grind.
Sometimes, I’ve found it’s a personal grudge by the author, or it’s just a personal opinion .. and it’s based on very flimsy and loosely fitted together “facts”.
How about if we act like adults and don’t swallow all that garbage!
Bush hater? Hardly. I really hope that we will someday find out the drug running was done by rogue agents. We do know one thing for sure -— it was done with the complicity, knowledge, and approval of the governor of Arkansas.
