Clinton steps up attacks on Obama

Clinton launched a searing attack on surging rival Barack Obama after the thumping win in Iowa that bolstered the idea that America is receptive to electing its first black president. ...

Polls have indicated the vast majority of Americans say they would support a black candidate .

A Gallup survey conducted in early 2007 found only 6 percent of men and 5 percent of women said they would not vote for a black presidential candidate -- a seismic political shift from 50 years ago, when more than half of those surveyed felt that way.

...

Clinton, aspiring to be the first female US president, used a debate, three days before the New Hampshire primary, to suggest that Obama had dumped previous positions on key issues for political gain.

Polls showed Obama had obliterated Clinton’s lead in New Hampshire.

“He could have a pretty good debate with himself,” Clinton said, trying to pin the ‘flip-flop’ tag on Obama, ...

Obama hit back at Clinton and accused her of misrepresenting his policies.

“What I think is important that we don’t do is try to distort each other’s records as election day approaches here in New Hampshire,” .

New polls showed the effect of Obama’s Iowa momentum.

In a CNN/WMUR survey, Obama and Clinton were locked up on 33 percent of likely primary voters. Obama was up four points from a similar poll in late December and Clinton was down one.

Another poll, by the Concord Monitor newspaper, had Obama with a slender one-point lead

Republicans also took aim at Obama... Noting Obama’s appeal as an agent for change, Giuliani questioned his level of experience and said his policy proposals would lead to higher taxes and a premature US withdrawal from Iraq.

...Huckabee, ... was alone in defending Obama.

We are NOT thinking - we are sucking *celebrity driven*
pre-digested propaganda through a tube attached to the TV.

Celebrity is the ability to project character where none exists.

I didn’t think Clinton had any black voter support once Oprah endorsed Obama.
He also has the support of a large female block who worship at the altar of Oprah and do all that she says.

“bolstered the idea that America is receptive to electing its first black president.”

Uh, wasn’t this a PRIMARY, with Hussein NObomba gathering a grand total of 38%?

You better give that brain cell a massage. That’s two direct hits in one evening. Protect it. Nurture it. Feed it the best food you can get. It may be the last functioning brain cell on the planet. If it were mine I bet it would keep me from logging off to go watch the debate right now. ;^)

“What policies. All he has is talking points with no substance. What do they expect from an empty headed liberal nitwit with a liberal educational brainwashing.”

There was a great swell of under 30 turn-out in Iowa, unprecedented. I think a generation is emerging where “change” is a magic word for young people. Ther doesn’t have to be substance to it. No matter what side of the aisle is in power, as they see it, everything remains the same. It is a matter of perception to a generation that was raised on Nintendo, the push of a button stimulation gratification on command. It is the “Do something different, ANYTHING as long as it is different” mindset. Substance requires more thought than immediate gratification response is willing to digest..

Yep, I figure she didn't want to go through the background check and the rest of the process. She probably had access to everything anyway because she's a bully and no one would dare ask her clearance level.

Do we take aim too suddenly at Obama?

Lost in all the hype is the man himself, Obama. He has said the Palestinians are "the most oppressed people in the world". He took a trip with Louis Farrakhan to visit Mohammar Qaddafi in 1984. He only "converted" to Christianity in 1996. There are many very disturbing facts about this man which clearly demonstrate he is not the person portrayed by a drooling media and who has mesmerized gullible primary voters. He seems to me a very, very dangerous man.

I can see Hillbillary on the phone once with that shrill voice. However, the second time it will be hang up time if the voice slips into shrill. And if that shrill sound starts echoing through the floors of the White House, it will drive out all but the deaf and dumb—and of course the Zombie DemonRATs from the Dawn of the Dead! Boowaaahaaahaaa!

At the risk of sounding crude, I would be interested to know what Billery’s monthly cycle is just as an experiment. I think it would be fascinating reading the evening news about her/him during that week of the month. Anyone privy to that information?

Given her age, I suspect Senator Clinton’s cycle is a thing of the past :)

However, you do raise an interesting point.

IMHO, it appears her week is never ending.
