Ron Paul, Featuring Special Guests "The Jew Haters"
Radar Magazine ^ | 1/18/08 | Nick Curran

Posted on 01/19/2008 7:54:17 AM PST by Mr. Silverback

In the stuffy world of politics, the Ron Paul campaign has earned the reputation of being something like a raucous, freedom-loving party. A raucous, freedom-loving party with lots of paranoid bigots. So it would probably be more surprising if the band reportedly headlining RonPaulapalooza didn't have a few teeny-tiny problems with the Jews, who they feel are trying to destroy everybody. The band Poker Face enjoys churning out a hard-chargin' "freedom rock" that they developed under the influence of Boston, the Beatles, and Frank Zappa, as well as a firm conviction that the Holocaust did not happen and that the Jews are in fact the lead agents of a "Satanic World Order."

And according to a notice sent out by RonPaulaplooza organizers, you can get yourself a taste when Poker Face (along with some "lesser-known bands") rocks the big event, now tentatively scheduled for the Fourth of July holiday weekend in Morehead, Kentucky. As of post time, organizers had not responded to Radar's anxious inquiries about the possible co-appearance of a sassy little slice of pizza known to sling some fairly dope rhymes about the Ron Paul revolution.

You’re a very disingenuous poster.

Take your own advice, and apply liberally.

Come again?

The stuff about Poker face is not satire. And only their headlines are jokes, they aren’t a humor site like the Onion or something.

See post 100 for an example, BTW. Telling Nazis to get bent is a violation of their freedoms.

Unfortunately, Neo-Nazis have 1st Amendment rights just as much as everyone else.

BTW, even though it appears that the Jane’s Addiction thing was a joke, I greatly appreciate you trying to set me straight.

“And only their headlines are jokes,”

GITP, you were right, the jokes keep writing themselves.

"Neo-Nazis have 1st Amendment rights just as much as everyone else."

But it doesn't mean they have a right to listened to.

You’re a very disingenuous poster.

I think that when you tell the truth, and someone calls you a liar, you are over the target and getting hits.

There's nothing I said about your post that isn't true.

“But it doesn’t mean they have a right to listened to.”

Please read your own post. That is the most unintelligent post I have seen all day.

Paul took the money.

BEFORE the stupid liberal media and conservative elites brought it to his attention that the $500 bucks was from Don Black, giving both Black and Stormfront publicity in the process. Prior to that, Paul didn't know Black from a pothole in the road.

If Soros or white supremacists are stupid enough to give me money for free as long as I don't endorse their views, I'd not only give them my checking account numbers, I'd give them my DNA as well.

I missed the be in right to be listened to. Sue me. But one thing is apparent, when you have to resort to insults, your argument is weak or non existent.

“The hardcore, anti-war left and 9/11 Truthers are NOT supporting Paul.”
Oh really? Then I suppose Alex Jones has not endorsed Ron Paul as reported? I suppose Ron Paul has not been on the Alex Jones Show multiple times. I suppose Alex Jones is not the 911 Truther conspiracy theorist that he appears to be on his website. And I suppose this quote is not on the Alex Jones website “Jones is considered by many to be the grandfather of what has come to be known as the 9/11 Truth Movement.”

And who's listening to them? Gothic teen losers with multiple body piercings and tattoos who have nothing better to do? Certainly not the Paul campaign. I doubt he even knows this exists. He didn't even know the original Money Bomb (Nov 5th) was happening until a few days before that very day.

All of these events - Paul has nothing to do with them. That's the beauty of his campaign, and the power of his message.

Elaborate? I’m saying that the more I see pathetic slime-balls try to drag Ron Paul down with mud and unsubstantiated paranoid delusions, the more I’m starting to like him. He wouldn’t be striking such a nerve with paranoid mudslingers with no substantial point to make if he wasn’t getting pretty close to the target. A hurt dog will yelp. What are you yelping about?

I think that when you tell the truth

Calling all of Paul's supporters Truthers and white supremacists despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary is not telling the truth. You have your opinion, but it is irrelevant to Paul supporters.

I wasn’t referring to your “missing the b”.

I was referring to your comment in general.

“the right to be listened to?”

"Prior to that, Paul didn't know Black from a pothole in the road."

I took a good look at Ron Paul at first because I believe in The Constitution and liberty. But he seems to attract a large number of fanatics and conspiracy nuts. Why is that?

You have the right to say what you please. I have the right to ignore you. Is this a difficult concept for you?
