Lapp is full of crap. Florida polls show McCain and Giuliani splitting the MODERATE vote, not the conservative vote.

Romney, Huck and Thompson are splitting the conservative vote. I don’t think Thompson voters are going to take a shining to Huckabee, so it will probably be a net win for Romney.

I don't agree with the assertion. Arguably, Huckabee has lost support in Florida that has mostly all gone to Romney. My recollection could be wrong, but I believe that the last two Rasmussen Florida polls showed that trend.

Further, Fred's supports, by and large, will go to Romney, who is viewed as the more conservative of the two. Right or wrong?
