Me, too! We’re watching it tonight. Up until “Brokeback Mountain”, which was really lame, I considered him one of the best young actors around.

However, the interviews with the eye rubbing, weird scratching, hair twiddling, all screamed “substance abuse” to me. JMO.

A voice of sanity. Regardless of the theme of Brokeback Mountain, his acting in it was magnificant.

I’m sad to hear this. I know he was in Brokeback Mountain which I did not see but he was also in Mel Gibson’s The Patriot (1999) and Ledger was great in that movie as Gibson’s son. Great movie. He seemed like a good actor.

Just saw Harvey Levin (from TMZ)...he said his contacts tolds him that the Mary Kate Olson 'connection' was that her bodyguard was in the building and that Ledger's housekeeper (who found him) knew that the MKO bodyguard was CPR trained...while waiting for NYPD/Paramedics to arrive either the housekeeper or the massuesse ran to get the MKO bodyguard. Levin stated no relationship between Ledger and Olson (they may have never even met)...just the housekeeper being proactive in the panic of finding HL.

Maybe you, but not me fellow. I have NEVER, in my worse day, entertained the thoughts of ending my life myself. I was stronger than that. As for drug over dosing, I guess I am a rare one in deed. I can honestly say, with my Lord and God as my witness, I have NEVER taken an illegal drug or smoked an illegal drug. The only drug that has entered my body a doctor gave me for medical reasons. I have never even smoked a cigarette. Never wanted to smoke the stinky things. I tried chewing tobacco once, at age 16, playing baseball. Hated the stinking taste of it. Spit it out and never chewed it again. Only that one time. I do drink a cold one from time to time and I drink wine. I never really liked the taste of hard booze. I will drink Vodka and OJ as the only hard booze I can stand. But, for drugs, no, thank you. I never wanted the crap. I have seen a lot of GI’s in Germany and in Vietnam on drugs. I saw what it did to them and that reinforced my beliefs of the crap, and I never wanted to use that crap.
