Every time Romney speaks, he’s in the 70s.
Everytime McCain speaks, he’s in the 50s.
When he drops names and uses slimy lines, McCain drops to the 30s.
The people measuring this DON’T like him.
But he keeps getting the votes. UGH!
I can’t remember if it was when McCain knew he had lost the election or not, but he was leaving the stage and along the outside of the stage there were a lot of reporters wanting to ask him how he felt! She got her microphone and asked “How do you feel, Sen. McCain?” He gave her a real hateful answer with that red face (can’t exactly remember his words.)
It was on t.v. for several days. He later said he didn’t even know who she was. But......Arnold is supporting him. I will tell you one thing ‘my husband would not betray me that way’ under any circumstances.
There has got to be a video of it somewhere but I don’t know how to find it!
IRAQ is not to free their people , it’s for us to have bases so we can invade more innocent people in the surrounding countries while taken their oil & resources in the process .

There were people who showed up to vote that didn’t register for the party they wanted 30-days in advance. (I think that was the time frame). So they whined enough and were allowed to vote anyway. There are also reports of people registering for both parties so they can vote either way and skew results.

“Governor, the right answer to that question was “no,” not what you said..” The arrogance of McCain makes me sick. Here he is telling Romney that there was only one answer and because Romney chose to answer in a different way from what McCain wanted to hear, he was wrong. Talk about controlled thinking. Imagine what a president McCain would be, his way or the highway. I also hated that little crooked nasty smile McCain had on his ugly puss whenever Romney was making points against him. The American people are jackasses if they vote McCain for president. They are worse than jackasses if they believe the media that McCain is the only one to beat Hilarity. Where have all the thinking Americans gone? It is a shame that all they can think about is what the government can give them.

No, I was Coast Guard. We served alongside them and shared joint operations and missions and were moored together. Their boats had a shallow draft and were more maneuverable than ours. The other difference was that we lived on the boats for the entire time there; I spent two weeks short of a full year in country whereas Kerry was there less than four months and was transfered out after he received his three purple hearts (as you recall there is some dispute about the seriousness of his wounds and whether they may have been his own fault.)

Start where Romney is allegedly now, listen to this debate from 1994 and this one from 2002 and the count the number of times in his life he has "changed:.
1. Pro-life .... That's how he allegedly started.
2. Pro-choice .... When his whole family changed after the death of the "dear friend" and his mother was running for office in a liberal state.
3. Pro-life .... On his trip back to conservative Utah.
4. Pro-choice .... When he is back to liberal Massachusetts in 2002 running for Governor and states he will not budge from his Pro-choice convictions even to urge changes that Courts have found LEGAL.
5. Pro-life .... Now that he is portrayed as the "conservative" candidate in the Republican primaries.
6. Pro-what? .... In the future when his pollsters tell him his popularaity is dropping or rising with voters because of Issue A.
Ted Kennedy was actually right in the 1994 debate. Romney is not "Pro-life" or "Pro-Choice". He is "Multiple Choice". The position Romney claims at a certain time at a certain place is based solely on what is Pro-"Whatever makes Romney attractive to 51% of the voters he wants votes from".
At least you know where Ted Kennedy stands.
After watching the debates last night, I think a few things became pretty obvious:
McCain would a be a horrible choice. One because he seems to get along with the Democrats so well, two because he isn’t a conservative by any stretch, and the third item would be that he hasn’t ever really accomplished anything.
I love how McCain likes to throw out his ability to lead, but what has he actually led? Romney made a very excellent point on this matter when he said that Senators don’t lead, they legislate. It is also ironic that there are those who spent time in the same prison camp as McCain who don’t think very highly of his actions during that time.
Personally, except in a few instances, I don’t need a President to lead me thank you very much. In fact, I don’t remember that being written into The Constitution anywhere. The job of the President is to execute the laws of the land and provide checks and balances against a legislative branch running amok. Nope, I’m quite willing, and able, to take care of myself Mr. President. Providing of course, you stop stealing from me and burdening me with useless legislation.
Also, on an economic standpoint, the economy is in a mess because of the government. I think we all recognize the importance of lowering taxes and government spending. In fact, I can’t recall a government anywhere, taxing itself out of debt alone. I definitely have to give Romney the advantage of that over McCain. Maybe if we could the Federal Reserve to stop meddling in the marketplace the market will find its own level. Now there is a concept that isn’t likely to happen.
I also don’t trust McCain to be Commander in Chief. He has the arrogance about him that says, “he knows better”. I want someone that will listen to the Generals and the people on the ground. They are the ones who need to be making decisions in order to keep the troops alive and complete the mission. What they don’t need is someone who still wants to play soldier from behind a desk. God knows there are already enough Congressmen who want to play armchair General.
I’m still not totally sold on Romney as candidate, but I definitely don’t think we need a Washington insider who has had too much time making back room deals with the other side.
Ron Paul just seems to zone from time to time and go off on some beaten path leaving you scratching your head. Other instances he makes very valid points that should be heard.
Huckabee is in a similar situation, he makes some good points from time to time, but there are still questions about him and his philosophy.
I think the bench this election was fairly weak in general. Fred Thompson was practically a no-show, and Guiliani was pretty much the same. I guess both figured they could get by on name recognition alone.

I have also noticed that McCain constantly tries to take credit for the surge, when that credit and success goes to General Petreaus. I have always respected John McCain for his service to our country, and felt sorry for him having to endure what he and others did as a POW. Yes, he was and is considered a hero, like many others who put their lives on the line for our freedom.
Now we are electing our President, and war hero or not, we look for a candidate who has a record and stands on issues that is in line with our beliefs. When I looked at all the candidates in the beginning, I found Fred Thompson to be the candidate for me. I was for Fred all the way, until he dropped out. I then had to look at the rest of the candidates in even more detail. Now it is obvious that Huckabee and Paul have no chance of winning the nomination. That brings us down to McCain or Romney. Just weigh those two options in detail realizing just these few facts:
McCain is for amnesty and open borders, Romney is not.
McCain can’t be trusted on taxes, Romney can.
McCain is for McCain/Feingold, Romney is not.
McCain is for the fairness doctrine, Romney is not.
McCain is endorsed by the New York Times, Romney is not.
McCain is pushed by the MSM, Romney is not.
I hope folks consider the two options and vote for Romney on Super Tuesday!

I also have supported Duncan Hunter, but I think your and my explanation about the difference in how the word Timetable is defined point out the true disconnect.
In Washington, it means one thing, in business, it only means what it is defined to mean.
Good lord! Maybe we should just go back to monarchy and skip all this election stuff!
