To: Seven Minute Maniac
Throwing around the "t" word ... does that really make you feel like a patriot? You and the rest of your Republicans must be really proud of your party this day.

Conservatives with Constitutional Conservative principles that are not afraid to stand up and say, "Enough is enough" now get the label traitor.

Many of "us" disagree with you in the same manner our forefathers disagreed with the English.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

It seems to this reader that your loyalties lie with Party rather than the Republic.

We all do what we do, hopefully based upon principle. Perhaps you do as well, but to label those of us that disagree with your "party principle" as traitors is despicable.

Sir, you are out of line. If your loyalties were truly with the Republic. You would not allow Hillary into office, knowing full well that she will turn our republic into a tyrannical socialist nanny state.

Don’t lecture me about the republic.

I like your point about the party and the republic.

In that same vein, I like to think of Martin Luther (Not KING) when he had to give defense for his writings and beliefs before the Holy Roman Emperor and was asked to recant his writings. I will paraphrase:

These are my beliefs. What have I said that is not correct? What I have taught and written, to recant them would cause me to go against what the church and the Bible teach. To force me to do so would make me go against my conscience. To go against conscience, is neither right or sane. If you can prove to me that I am wrong, then I will recant, but if not, then I can not and I will not recant. Here I stand. God help me.

Hear ye, hear ye! Well stated. It still just amazes me that we are now down to one faux preacher man, one crazy man, oops, that’s two crazy men (Paul and McInsane). And the one that is going to be our candidate is the only one I could never vote for from the gitgo. Amazing.
