CNN says

Right now McCain has 680 Delegates.

Romney has 270

Huckabee has 176.

There are 1254 left to be awarded.

Couldn’t be the McCciniancs here are fudging their numbers could it? Seems odd how they gave more to McCain and significantly under counted Romney delegates

I saw elsewhere McCain was 500 odd. Even Mitt and Hucks numbers are higher than the previous posting i saw. Maybe that was before 100% CA voting was counted.

It looks like McCain needs about 40% of the remaining delegates to win.

It appears that Romney is just about mathematically eliminated.

Go further up the forum list, and you’ll see that the MSM is already ringing Romney’s political death knoll—PULEEZE. This ain’t over til the fat lady sings, and I’m keeping my mouth shut, LOL! :-)

Has any reporter asked McCain, Hillary and Obama if they win their party’s nomination, will they step down from the Senate?

But Huckabee and McCain have a great chance of winning? You're kidding, right? Hahaha! Right?!

Just not getting all these dire predictions this early in the race, people!

Huck and Romeny need to win about 80% of the remaining delegates to win.

McCain needs to win about 40%.

I thought the Redskins were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but they turned it around.

I don’t see Romney winning in DC, and I see McCain winning VA.

It could be over after Tuesday.

There are 1254 delegates left. In order to win the nomination Romney needs to win 947 (80%) of those. Given that he has won only 21% of them so far, it seems it just about mathematically impossible.

Good math. I never looked at it the other way around.

Maybe this is why Romney is meeting with Congressional leaders amid rumors that he is dropping out.

CNN only show pledged delegates on their front page. Real Clear Politics shows pledged and unpledged where they think unpledged will go. Yes it is numbers fudging.

Huckster must win 81% of remaining delegates to win the nomination.
Slick Willard must win 74% of them.
Queeg needs only 41%.

Fox News has McCain at 703 delegates, Romney 293 delegates.

MSNBC has McCain at 720 delegates, Romney 256 delegates.

CNN has McCain at 680 delegates, Romney 270 delegates.

It is wishful thinking at best to think numbers are being fudged.

Looks like its Plan C

Plan A) Go to Feb 9th Caucus vote for Fred Thompson

Plan B) Go to Feb 9th Caucus vote for Mitt Romney

Plan C) Go Skiing

'Fraid not...most of us "McCciniancs" passed 2nd grade math, and actually went on to higher educational pursuits and learned reason and logic.

...and one of those reason lessons was not to label someone of a different race “Macaca” in a middle of a Senate re-election bid!

How many Willard-friendly states are
soon coming up on the primary calender?

Washington?
