Fred wants to be his VP. No surprise here.

Duncan endorsed Huckabee, Fred endorses McCain. Dennis’ UFOs must be messing with their minds.

Fred is obviously not the man I thought he was. I’m sorry that I ever even thought of voting for him. I’m glad he left the race.

You got it in first, but here’s the second. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Sorry, but if this is true I won’t even write in Fred’s name on the ballot. Guess the Hildebeast just won the WH back for Bubba.

You are going to hear that Fred was promised something to endorse him, pretty soon there is going to be nothing left to promise.

It doesn't matter!
We need one page of these that are fronts and, one page of these for the backs, that we can print and cut, to fill the prepaid envelopes from the RNC and the ACU.
There will be a price to pay for supporting McCain.
We can vote conservative on Senate and House primary seats, and vote for anyone other than McCain on the Presidential seat, including a democrat in the general election.

Thanx for your conservatism Fred.
Now, just go away.
To: NoGrayZone
Now it’s time for McCain to do the right thing and put Fred on the ticket. (And after the election, Dick Cheney can take McCain hunting).

Second, with all respect, no.

No surprise.
Despite what many here at FR think, Fred and McCain have been very close friends.

Unfortunately, much as I had high hope for the Thompson candidacy, in retrospect I suspect his entry and exit were a choreographed means of consolidating support for McCain by fragmenting Conservative support. If true, this is the logical conclusion of this process unless there is another step in naming Thompson as VP.
I hope I'm wrong but I've seen enough this campaign cycle to develop a large case of cynicism about what has happened.

Well, another man of no spine
.
FT endorses JM.
DH endorses MH.
The two most conservative are now the most disappointing.

I’ve got to think about this, but I’ll say this much now.
Fred waited until this was a done deal. Cheney and Bush endorsed McCain sooner than he did.
Fred endorsement, therefore, did not give McCain any help toward winning the nomination, as it might have done if he had spoken before Super Tuesday.
