Again, McCain has not supported the Fairness Doctrine, and has in fact, worked actively against it with actual legislation that would block it. You said he supported it, which is incorrect. Satellite Radio companies, Sirius an XM, is the answer.

I love my XM. more than 170 stations, any music, news, talk, comedy, and even old time radio. Check it out if you don't have it. My receiver was about $20 from amazon. I like that it broadcasts to any FM receiver, so I can listen to it in the house without removing the receiver from my truck. Yes, truck.

I have XM in my Honda, and Sirius in my Acura. Listen to nothing else, unless Rush is on. Most talkers are already on SatRad, so when Rush moves over AM/FM is toast.

I have always said that if you listen to SatRad for one hour you will never look back.

So they want to toss conservative talk radio that people
actually listen to off the air in Boston? Note that liberal
talk radio in one of the blue-est cities in the country
got tossed out—not by some sort of Fairness Doctrine, but by lousy ratings and ad billings.

Clear Channel switched WKOX and WXKS (AM) in Boston to
La Nueva Rumba in Dec. of 2006. So far, in the heart of
Kennedy country, it has not made a return.
