McCain will probably still truly end up losing very badly on November 4 no matter what anybody says, both good and bad, about McCain! So, how does your explanations help to truly prevent this embarrassing loss by both McCain and the Republican Party at every political level on November 4? The Democrats at every political level truly have the political momentum going their way “big time”, and the Republicans at every political level are probably going to have their clocks cleaned on November 4! Please prove me wrong on all of this! The U.S. as a country is in for some very hard times ahead!

Now, now, the Pubs have always been the Party of optimism. Don’t give up so fast. The glass is half full, you know.

There are no guaranteed outcomes, but we can make sure to do all WE can, to stop the Democrats.

Conservatives aren’t turning out in numbers right now because it’s McCain and because there’s no competitive race underway on our side. When it’s McCain vs. Obama, for example, the “seven stages of grief” are behind us and the true gravity of the coming election becomes apparent, I expect conservatives will get really energized.

If we can get all out troops pointing their guns in the right direction (instead of at each other), McCain will win.

I promise.

I also believe this is true. I also believe that, even with the propped up votes of ticked off conservatives this would happen. And it would be for nothing. The Republican party will thereafter look for every excuse in the book to explain away why we lost (emotion, Bush malaise, "change" fervor, etc.). I'd rather conservatives, because this will happen either way, should give the Republicans no other explanation to come to but the real one: they have squandered a rare opportunity during the 6 years they were in power, they did not stand on their principles, they did not foster and grow the candidates that could have won this, they did not, they did not , they did not. What they did was to spend money like a drunken sailor and take the lazy way out with the illegals invasion. In short, the party will learn nothing from this.

You can spur an elephant in the hind quarter and it would likely not phase it. If you beat him up side the head with a two-by-four, you'd probably get his attention.

Of that there can be little doubt! We are about to get what we deserve for abandoning reality. We have allowed two generations of young people to grow up with nearly no knowledge of the origins of the country, with no idea of the struggle to exist that our ancestors endured, they think hard times means no cell phones or pcs. They think the greatest danger facing us is man made global warming which does not exist in reality. They think we cannot elect a President worse than G.W. Bush, by the time they realize how wrong they are it will be too late.

Why? This will only happen if Republicans are inept at getting the American public to realize that it is the Democrats who are responsible for the sky-high energy prices. Democrats are working against our national security. They are actively trying to help terrorists.

Democrats are the ones who want to destroy the American economy with higher taxes and greater regulation and it is Democrats who want to throw open the borders. They want as many illegals as they can get here.

Republicans are the only hope of the country. This should be a slam dunk.
