It was not state Sen. Kirk Watson’s finest moment.
Asked by MSNBC host Chris Matthews last night, before a national audience with cameras rolling, to name some of Barack Obama’s legislative accomplishments, the Austin lawmaker and Obama supporter came up blank.
Not a one.
Matthews asked again and again.
Dead air.
“I’m not going to be able to do it tonight,” Watson finally acknowledged on the air.
The gaffe, which was making the rounds of national talk shows today and blazing across the Internet, surely is not high on Watson’s short list of great accomplishments.

Why would Matthews ask such a question to the Texas state senator to begin with after Matthews said earlier that he “gets a tingle up his leg” from Obama?
You’d feel it in your legs too if you got kneed in your gonads.

He keeps saying he voted agaings the war..was against the war letting the implication rest that he was against the war as a US senator..he was in the IL state senate when the vote go to to war was cast...but he never corrects this..just lets it sit and so these skulls full of mush think he was in the US senate and actually had a vote on the matter. Funding issues once he got there are another matter.
I can’t defend Obama, but he may go down in history as the guy who took down the House of Clinton.
He was raised by her parents, his grandparents..the white ones.
I guess that getting Chris Matthews to get a ‘rush’ down his legs should count, shouldn’t it???...lol
Kirk Watson humiliated himself, the state of Texas, and my alma mater, Baylor University! Hey Kirk, “You’re only as professional as your preparation.” YOU’RE NO PROFESSIONAL!
They even had a sound bite where they asked his wife three times if she was proud of America and she said yes three times. ( i guess to make up for saying she was ashamed of america earlier)
They had an interview with Watson yesterday evening and he said something to the effect of:
“I felt totally naked when he asked that question.”

This country will truly be in so much trouble in a finite number of ways if Obama does become the next POTUS! As bad as all of the major Presidential choices for ‘08 are, Obama will be one of the worst President ever, and all of the damage that Obama will create will truly take many years to fix, if it’s ever fixed at all!
Watson’s going to find himself starring in a John McCain campaign commercial come this fall...
LOL!
