Cut investments in "unproven missile defense systems" (I guess he wasn't paying attention to the successful missile defense system mission to destroy the satellite that was about to reenter the atmosphere with a risk of massive toxic consequences, and he must be unaware of the numerous successful tests of our missile defense systems and the use of such technology as the PAC-3 in Iraq and Kuwait)
Slow our development of future combat systems (leaving our military more vulnerable to the evolving threats it faces)
Implement an "independent" Defense Priorities Board (probably consisting entirely of radical 60's peaceniks who loathe all things military) to ensure that there is no "unnecessary military spending"
Set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons, lead by example by not developing any new nuclear weapons, seeking a ban on the production of fissile material, and negotiating with Russia to take our ICBM's off alert (yeah we can trust North Korea and China to stop pointing all their nukes at us and destroy them, and we can trust NK and ROC and other rogue nations to abide by a ban on production of fissile materials.)

Don’t blame any Conservative who refuses to keep pushing this party farther to the Left just because our leaders are so mentally and morally bankrupt that they think we will accept what ever candidate they throw at us, simply because there is an “R” behind his name.

He didn't actually say “Unnecessary Military Spending”, he said he would ensure the quadrennial defense program review would not be used to justify "unnecessary spending". Of course since the QDPR is specifically to prioritize defense spending projects, any spending arising from it would by definition be military spending; therefore I inserted the word military into the quote. In fairness, I should have put the word military in parenthesis in the quote. Thus, the quote may be considered fake but accurate.

Please don't waste your noble efforts by playing mind checkers with me. I WILL NOT VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER MY FIREARMS TO ANYONE. I expect all citizens to have the same view. Any serious attempt to disarm us would result in a civil war and that's why I don't expect it to happen. Plus, many of the LEO's and military personnel are also gun owners who would never be part of such a thing.
