>> McCain just wants to run a clean campaign on the issues
OK. We’ll see if he has the brains, balls and organization to meet Hussein forcefully, on the issues... or if he rolls over and exposes his soft underbelly at every “news cycle”, huddling with his PC consultants before his every move. So far, that’s what I’m seeing.
You probably think I’m gratuitously ripping on him, but I’m dead serious. I DO NOT want President Obama... but unless and until John McCain proves himself worthy of the nomination, support for him is NOT on “auto”.
I’m a conservative. Impress me, John. You have about two months. (Yes, there’s eight months until the election... but John, you need the money and buzz tap turned on well before that if you really want the job.)
McCain has had frontpage coverage for two days in a row for his attacks on Obama's willingness to leave Iraq to Al Qaeda.
Did you miss it?
You’ll be disappointed. McCain is going to agree with EVERYTHING Obama or Clinton believe in except he’ll offer an alternative that 1) supposedly cost less and 2) raises a tax to pay for it.
McCain is nothing but Dem-lite and I find it appalling that so-called conservatives in this forum are drinking the Jim Jones punch.
Desparation I guess.
