Obama said he would act "
if al-Qaida is forming a base in Iraq..."
Then he said: "I do know al-Qaida is in Iraq..."
Hmmm... God help us if this genius ever gets his finger on the button...

Well, he could redeploy the troops over the horizon to say, Guam. No, wait, that’s something like what Murtha suggested.

At the rate Barack Obama is going, his lack of qualification to serve as commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces will be painfully obvious long before November.
...Only with the help of people like this author.

How is it possible that one of the two largest parties of this nation is trying to propose a candidate that is a half-term junior senator? He's never been on the Armed Services Committee, so what does he know about such serious issues?
He is on the Foreign Affairs Committee, and chairs the European subcommittee, but he admitted the other day that he had not yet called a meeting of this committee. So, that means that he hasn't discussed the crucial issue with the Europeans about beefing up their participation in Afghanistan and Iraq. He does say, however, that when he will be president he will call in all the military commanders and work a solution to extract from Iraq. BS!
I’m moving to another parallel universe; this is all too much for me.

Obama's exchange with McCain shows how confused and convoluted his position on Iraq actually is.
He as much as admitted he was wrong about Al Qaeda being in Iraq in his statement he would only send troops BACK to Iraq if Al Qaeda shows up there.
This guy talks before he thinks and really doesn't seem very bright at all.

One momement Barack says Al Qaeda is not in Iraq. Another moment Barack says Al Qaeda is in Iraq.
Barack could debate himself.

Obama has undergone little criticism, especially on national security, because Hillary has attempted to - or been forced to - run to the left of him, which is impossible.
Obama has not yet faced real criticism: that will come on national security and on such things as the right-to-life of the unborn.
Can Obama guard the people of America when he shows little value for guarding the life of the unborn - i. e., for life itself?

Sadly, this is more a commentary of the electorate than it is the candidate. To many, he Obama is the beacon of sorts... he is the star.
