Quit ready into the statement! He said that it is first, a border state issue. The issue of shutting the border is first and foremost and has only to do with border states. Then it is an issue of a guest worker program. States like WA, CO, MI and anywhere else they need guest workers are now included in the discussion.

The issue of shutting the border is first and foremost and has only to do with border states. The 2 Mexican illegals that recently killed 5 american teens were not in southern border states. Do those 5 young lives lost not count in this discussion?
Illegal immigration is not a border-state issue. It is a NATIONAL issue.
