He is done...can you imagine how PO'd Shrillery! is about this? She will want him out ASAP...and we know what that will mean. I am betting he is cleaning his desk out now...

The phone conversation from her end would be "Eliot!! How could you DO this to me??

"Has anybody since Chuck Berry actually been prosecuted under the Mann Act?"

IIRC, at least one of the charges against Charles Manson came under the Mann Act because of the young women he moved around in his cult, but that would have been a bit less serious than the other charges against him!!

The fee ended up being $4,300, with the "extras."

Your tax dollars at work!

"I am certain we will all have the opportunity to see a lot of Kristen in the near future. She’s probably a graduate student and will write a book on her experiences as a sex worker before heading off to the London School of Economics."

Now she can make quite a career for herself on the campus circuit of those so-called "sex worker" conferences -- IIRC, Duke, Harvard, and William and Mary have all had some notoriety in the past couple of years for hosting conferences about "sex workers" and what better headline speaker than the hooker who brought down the Governor of New York?!?!

Corzine on MSNBC talking to Chris Matthews. Corzine sounds like he is quivering in his boots. He sounds as if he is scared that he will be the next one to be uncovered.

Right now, writers at The Colbert Report and The John Stewart show are working over time. SNL is going to have some real fun with this. Will try not to miss Jay Leno tonight.

He totally queered "Her Heinouss'" nomination bid, not once, but twice (remember the licences for illegals flap which shattered Hillary!'s aura of inevitablity)? If they didn't desperately need this bozo's superdelegate vote, they would "arkancide" him in a heartbeat...

Whose money was Spitzer using, that’s what I’d like to know. That IRS program seeks out patterns, which implies he was a “regular” client. At $2600 to $4000 a pop, what are we looking at here—$30- or $40,000 on hookers for a year? I know he’s from a rich family, so maybe that’s it. But NY is $4 billion in debt. If a cent of this was from the public coffers, just one cent...

Also, who are the other clients? Who referred Spitzer to the service in the first place? Guys like Spitzer rely on a network for this kind of thing. The Mayflower is the haunt of many on the Hill. Who are Clients 1 through 8? Are there Clients 10, 11, 12.....? Who else is dirty here? The rats travel in packs.

At any rate, I hope he DOESN’T quit—not right away. I want the Rats to have to answer for him right through their convention and into the general. Answer and keep answering.

IRS probe referred to FBI. Where’s the money coming from? Where’s it going? Wonder if “Eliot Ness” ever heard of Al Capone?
