constituent services. That sounds about right. Pols screw their constituents.

Yeah. Bruno is next in line. What a hoot. New York, financial capital of the world, with a government run by Bill Clinton wannabees who can’t keep their pants on.

Sounds like New York could have saved themselves the bother and kept the scoundrel they had rather than trade one for the other.

As of now Joe Bruno is next in the chain unless a new Lt. Governor is selected and confirmed soon Bill Clinton? He's already been vetted...
(i.e. He's had his shots ;)

"The records also show he made reimbursements, but he acknowledged he may have failed to pony up in one instance."
He ponied up alright. Funny term to use for being in the saddle.
Sorry Gov., but just using the campaign card for your personal needs is in itself unethical, whether you ponied up or not. My question is, how many affairs did he have as a City Councilman, and how often did he used either campaign funds or cash from his Council office funds to pay for his romps? You know it wasn't only one time. Doing it the first time and getting away with it, makes it that much easier the next time, and the next time, and the next time.

Gov. David Paterson admitted he may have improperly billed his campaign committee for at least one hotel stay with a girlfriend.
The city Department of Education confirmed Paterson intervened on behalf of a former Olympic gold medalist to get her a job after officials there determined she wasn’t a good fit for the post she sought

A campaign payment to Lila Kirton, a high-ranking state employee who was one of his paramours, was listed as "professional services" - which is supposed to refer to legal advice, accounting or speechwriting.
Professional services, eh? Sounds like Ms. Kirton may be a freelancer doing the same job as the Emperors Club pros Spitzer frequented.

Yes, Bruno is next. Patterson has a get out of jail free card. Short of murder, and maybe even that, he can do anything in office.

She (Kirton) hasn't responded to calls for comment, and co-workers said they didn't see her yesterday at her $150,000-a-year job in Paterson's Office of Intergovernmental AffairsWow! She charges more than Spitzer's whore!
Either that or she's just one of many that belongs in Patterson's paid harem.
