That is exactly what I was thinking. If he is admitting to one now, it’s because he thinks it will take the dogs off his scent. It’s a blood sport now. More will be revealed.

Okay, the guy is now the chief executive officer for the State of New York and he has no idea where the funds he used to have an illicit affair came from!!!?

You may be right but at least Paterson will be able to say that he didn’t see it coming.

Man, ain’t that the truth! “Constituent services” indeed. So, he gives this gal a $150,000 a year job, but I guess she gets a bonus every time she “services his constituent”. Is it any wonder people have so little regard for government and law? This whole “governing class” has to be eliminated by whatever means necessary. I think the single most important change - which will never happen - is to completely eliminate any kind of pension benefits for any elected officials.

If he is admitting this one encounter at such an early stage in this scrutiny, surely there is a whole iceburg under the water we are not seeing.

I think this guy was happy ummmm....serving his constituents as lieutenant gov but realizes being governor means he'll actually have to work.

And they continually lower the bar so that eventually this will all be just accepted.

As if the bar could get any lower.

I agree with you but you just know that there are the apologists out there that will tell you that the reason that these guys are corrupt is that we don’t give them money and then they have to rely on cash from powerful and corrupt interests.

As I understand it the NYT and others have decided this man is no longer a Democrat. Along with his predecessor he is never referred to as a Democrat. This must mean there is a secret court in MSM land that removes a the Democrat Party label in situations such as this.

He is 79 years old so maybe when he becomes governor the scandal will involve something other than sex.

“A campaign payment to Lila Kirton, a high-ranking state employee who was one of his paramours, was listed as “professional services” - which is supposed to refer to legal advice, accounting or speechwriting.

Kirton, 49, of White Plains, is the only woman whose name has been confirmed by Albany sources.

She hasn’t responded to calls for comment, and co-workers said they didn’t see her yesterday at her $150,000-a-year job in Paterson’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs...”

Isn’t that great. Lila Kirton did the “professional services” better known as thedown and dirty with Patterson. Then, he paid for the “professional services” with campaign funds.

When will we be ready about misuse of tax payers money via some ponied up way to pay for “professional services”?

Paging Nancy Pelosi: “There is more dirt, sex and stuff in aisle NY. Call in your clean up thugs.”

Well, they can say anything they want but...the don’t get any of our hard earned money. Let them WORK for it like the rest of us do. We don’t fly on charter planes. We don’t have DRIVERS. We don’t skip out of restaurants on campaign trails without paying our food bill. They disgust me all of them. They all should be ashamed. They have no heart nor soul. They are empty of anything that means anything. They are for themselves and have their own selfish agends. So, as far as I am concerned they are not worth my time or energy much less any monies I have. What I have goes to my family and not to these jokers.
