The program, dubbed Safe Homes... That's funny. I have a program at my home called Safe Home. It involves arming myself, my wife, and my children with large-capacity semi-autos, handguns, and shotguns. So far it seems to be working.

Is anyone reading the entire article? Has anyone read past reviews of this program. The core word is “PERMISSION”. The police were to enter and look for guns via the “espressed permission” of the owners.
There are all too many “community leaders” in Boston and every other large city that leap at the chance to criticize the police, but have NOTHING to say about the daily and almost hourly slaughter of young people on our streets. From family and friends of the dead we hear wails of mourning, while from the “leaders” only the “sounds of silence”.
The MSM trumpets the tragedy of 4000 dead in several years of war in Iraq. In the same time, how many young minority children have been the victims of drive-by shootings, innocent bystander shootings, ricochet bullets, and sudden rage shootings? What says the MSM about the toll of dead here at home.
The much scorned “Bush’s war” has made the country safer, if not safe, but who speaks up to make the neighborhoods safe? Again, the sounds of silence.

If I remember right, the Hitler Youth participated in a program like that.
(Of course nobody would abuse that if they were just pissed off at somebody.)
