People have come to rely to much upon being protected by the police.

Jesus said: "and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."

That word sword is machaira. And yes it does mean sword, but it also means weapon of war and weapon used for judicial punishment. So, today it means gun, tank, tactical nuke. Well maybe not tactical nuke, but definitely guns, long, short and shot.
