Where are these people when the Dems run ads accusing Repubs of burning churches, etc?

Manipulative. Shameful. Race-baiting.

Sure, sure, that's Obama. But what about the ad?

The country cannot afford such divisiveness.

It's Obama who is divisive. I've never seen such an "Us" vs "Them" candidate before. Yet the media pushes him as a uniter and attacks all Republicans as divisive.

The ad is simply truthful. That's why the NYT and the rest of the Left hates it.

Is it racism to think that Obama has an overly developed fantasy life and power lust? Is it racism to think Jeremiah Wright is the black version of white trash?

New York Times

Manipulative. Shameful. Race-baiting. Those are the only words to describe a new television ad from the Republican Party

Oh Boohoohoo! The NYT is going completely nuts over this tame and truthful. They can't even write whole sentences and have to throw one-word insults around. FUNNY!!!

so....they played audio of something the Rev. actually said - and it was the extreme God “da*&” America.
And then they called it extreme - which it was.

How is this race baiting?
Telling the truth is now race baiting?

This particular ad didn’t mention race - or the Rev. Wright’s extreme racist remarks about whites, jews, and even Jesus.

The assertion that Mr. Obama is “just too extreme for North Carolina” is a clear bid to stir bigotry in a Southern state.

What a stupid and bigoted statement.
Are they implying that the ad would not be bigotry if run in a Northern State?
Do they mean to imply that someone that associates with a person that hates America is okay in say Illinois but not okay in North Carolina?
Does the accusation of bigotry prevent the use of a truthful and accurate statement to be used in a political ad?
Is the implication by the media that Obama can not be attacked at all because he is black?
Wouldn't that be racist?
Basically the media is just fronting for Obama here. if this was anyone else and certainly a Republican they would never have run this ed.

Yep, this ad is exactly the thing that needs to be pointed out to the mainstream; these liberal crybabies know it is extremely effective, and truthful, so they have to lie about it being racist in order to dupe people who haven’t seen it yet.

So let me get this straight, New York Times. It’s perfectly acceptable for your profession to run these same clips of Reverend Wright and then have scholarly round table discussion over whether or not Barack Obama is “too extreme” to be elected because of it. And it is within bounds for Hillary Clinton to bring up Reverend Wright and say that she would have left his church because his views were “too extreme” for her. But when the North Carolina GOP runs an ad featuring one of these clips of Reverend Wright and declares that Barack Obama is “too extreme” for North Carolina, it is suddenly is “manipulative shameful race-baiting”?

What am I missing here?

"We have said before that we find Rev. Wright’s oratory racist. And we have criticized Senator Obama for waiting too long to denounce it. His relationship with the Rev. Wright is undeniably a liability for his campaign."

Wow, so we can agree that Obambi's self-selected pastor of 20 YEARS is a ranting racist. The ad happens not even to be about his racism but about his depraved anti-American schtick, another contemptible aspect of the toxic stew of far-left and "black nationalist" ranting represented by Jeremiah Wright.

So the NY Times is incoherent to recognize the depravity of Rev. Wright but to denounce an ad critical of him and his supporters. In reality the editors want to be able to tut-tut Obama and Wright without any political consequences. Yes, the guy is a ranting racist, but no one else is allowed to criticize him, or to critize Obama for being BFF with him.
