TARPON SPRINGS - Police were called to the home of DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey's mother on Thursday to investigate her apparent suicide.
Police have confirmed that the dead person is Palfrey who was 52.
Palfrey was dubbed "The DC Madam" by the national media after her arrest for allegedly running an upscale call girl ring in the nation's capitol.

The only mystery here is whose goons got to her first? The list of people with a motive is narrowed down to 435.
I wonder if Livingstone was seen carrying boxes of files or her computer out of her home or if the police were prohibited from entering her apartment or office until it could be sterilized like Vince Foster’s was before Hillary allowed, through intermediaries of course, the investigation of his death to proceed???
This smells like, “She was made an offer she couldn’t refuse”......either she dies and takes the identies of her clients with her or members of her family begin experiencing untimely deaths. Most likely she was given no choice at all.

Did someone get inside the house and put drugs in their food or drink. Strange that they were both tired at 9:00 in the MORNING??????? Both drugged? If Palfrey had those kind of drugs - why didn’t she just overdose rather than hang herself?
Clever to have removed the mother as a witness ONLY to the death. And hanging as suicide is very convincing to the first responders - it does not require waiting for toxicology reports. Also quieter than a gunshot.
Very strange stuff.
Maybe she went to Judge Greer to ask for his expertise on how to protect herself.

And it’s always possible some of those “suicides by hanging” could have been perfect murders. Ol’ Drew Peterson found a lot of suicidal acquaintances hanging around.
Strange that a woman who was (according to her mother) *feeling tired* at 9:00 am had enough energy to hoist up and hang herself. What was the hurry???
Lots of Greek stores, restaurants, Greek music in the streets, Greek festivals, shell shops and some really nice gift shops line the main street alongside the river flowing through town. The sponge ships sail out to sea from the middle of town.
I love to go there and my northern guests all want me to take them there.
As in most places there are beautiful homes there, plus pockets of seedy areas tucked away. Lots of northern retirees in modest little homes.
I believe there's little doubt the Madame committed suicide.....the usual Arkancide theories aside.
She was facing serious prison time.....and she had reiterated time and again she would never spend another day locked up in prison. She probably was unstable to begin with behind the public veneer. I believe she decided to take her own life, went back to the little town to be with her mother, and then did the deed.
Let me tell you, Florida is one of the more interesting states to live in, both in the political arena and also in the weird crimes arena. Never a dull moment here in the Sunshine State.

Two quick points:
1. There are reports that at the most, she would have only gotten or served 5 years. Not that long in the scheme of things, certainly not enough to kill yourself.
2. The reports of her saying she would kill herself before going to prison are coming from ONE MAN(as far as I can tell) and his name is Dan Moldea. Dan Moldea has her black book and probably the rights now to the book they were writing together. He is also a mudracker from way back who has worked with Larry Flint digging up dirt on Republicans and ‘protecting’ Bill Clinton during his impeachment.
Google him......it will be an eye opener. I am not saying that she didn’t commit suicide, just that it warrants a more thorough investigation imho.
