As the Democratic presidential candidates held pre-primary rallies yesterday in Indiana and North Carolina, and presumptive Republican nominee John McCain spoke to the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, another major-party presidential candidate continued his own quest for nomination, headlining a "Freedom Rally" on a Fort Wayne, Ind., university campus.

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) told supporters in early March, through a Web video, that he knew he was no longer in the running for the presidency, and aides said his campaign would be "winding down." But it turns out Paul never stopped running for president.

I guess RP thinks he can keep on bilking the Paulbots for more donations and selling their contact info. to spammers by making them think his campaign is still ongoing.

I guess he really is the cynical politician that we always knew he was. ;)

‘Jesse Benton’ is the one most folks blame for how poorly the campaign was run

I think it was cut and run's anti-American rants and sentiment that sent his campaign into a tailspin.

Paul has already hinted he likes Obama.

Of course he likes osama obama. Now that Paul is out Obama is the most anti-American candidate left.

That is the reality, I am just talking about who the supporters seem to blame (after they blame conspiracies of course).

John McCain nor any other real Republican would want the support of Baghdad Paul or his American-hating cultist followers.

Compare him to McCain and he starts looking like a Silver Dollar.

LOL Then from my perspective McCain would be a thousand dollar bill. I don't like McCain much, but I really dislike Ronnie.

Paul is for surrender while John McCain is for the annihilation of our enemies.

John McCain is for big government at home and abroad ( policing the world), Ron Paul is not.

Ron Paul is for either appeasing or surrendering to the terrorists. McCrazy is for defeating them.

If you like Pro-La Raza, more taxes, anti-Bill of Rights, wishy-washy on RKBA issues, type RINO's... then McCain is definitely your boy.

Unfortunately, he'll also help keep the Dems in power by driving off the GOP base in droves.

Nice one Ace. How about just switching Teams and get it over with?

I prefer fighting the war on terror instead of hiding my head in the sand and pretending the rest of the world doesn't matter. I prefer acknowledging that it was Islamic terrorists that flew planes into the WTC, not our own government.

Just two reasons I prefer McCain (or almost anyone) over nut-boy Ronnie.

If you want to defeat terror, start by knowing WHY they hate us and close the f*cking border.

Neither of which McInsane is keen on doing.

Also, Paul is on record as thinking the idea that the US FedGov was directly involved in the plot is idiotic. He was correct in saying that Government policies allowed such a plot to succeed.

If you have problems with that, tough.

Sure. . . that's why all the truthers thought he was the cat's meow.

You can have him. He'll never be President.

McCain apologized for someone else using Obamas middle name and you expect him to get at the root of evil? ROFLMAO.
