Michelle Obama's Problem With "Whitey"
Bob Parks: Black & Right ^ | 6/4/08 | Bob Parks

Rudy Giuliani may be out of the presidential picture for now, but he may swing the election towards McCain. According to Katy Grimes at Townhall, he has the sledgehammer that just may deliver Barack Obama a knockout punch, again, all because his wife has a big mouth.

The buzz about a tape surfacing of Michelle Obama ranting about "Whitey" together with Louis Farrakhan and the Reverend Jeremiah Wright is interesting, if not a deal breaker. When it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam - not a good tag when running for President of the United States.

Anyway, I’m sure those foaming at the mouth don’t mean it thataway.

Especially from a potential First Lady.

The most current detailed rumor I've seen has this description:

For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this.

Separately, there is a rumor of intemperate remarks at a closed-door event in Iowa.

If the tape exists, it would be on Utube by now. Case closed.

This guy Obama is the most left wing liberal Senator in the Senate. He’s for higher taxes, against American made energy, (coal, oil, nuclear, refineries etc.), he’s for late term abortions, he’s for a weak military etc.

WE DON’T NEED MICHELLE’S TAPE!!!!!!!!

I want the American way of life now and in the future. Obama is not. McCain? I honestly don’t know yet.

Can’t argue with that...except I already know the answer to your last question.

I thought the following was interesting from your link,

According to HillBuzz,

The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women’s Event.

Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.

She then launched into an attack on “whitey”, and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that’s when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who’s seen this.

The “tape” is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity’s site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.

Maybe staying at home (baking cookies) isn’t a bad thing after all.

My gut says that she might be a “potential” first lady, but I really don’t think that Hillary Clinton is dead in the water yet, that’s the first lady that scares the hell out of me.

I especially liked the imagery of one FReeper the other day who stated that until we see the ruby slippers under the house, don’t count Hillary out. She was brilliant in ruining Barry’s day yesterday when she “suggested” she would be interested in the V.P. slot. That, and other bits and pieces of phrases from here campaign really chills my blood. (RFK assasination reference-ya’ll don’t forget how the dead bodies piled up during the Clinton admin)

I am in awe of this woman. She will not stop, the plot thickens. If he doesn’t pick her, she will find a way to make sure he doesn’t win. And I dare to say I will SUPPORT HER with that endeavor. Ya know, with these “qualities” of our former first lady, she might not be a bad CIC really. Woe to those towel heads when she gets hormonal. Wiping Iran off the map, or whatever she said to that effect? I believe it.

Question (among many others) that hasn’t been answered- where do the “transcript” quotes come from- the references to Jena and Katrina would have to be post-July 2004 Rainbow meeting- since they occurred after that conference...

One seemingly unrelated thing that makes me believe that there is some truth to the fact that the DVD exists is Obama’s speech last night. He went out of his way to thank his white grandmother for “making him the man he is today.” Was this an effort to defuse the impact of the release of the alleged DVD?

You may be correct but I need to ask, have you, yourself, heard the tape? If so where?

Heh. I noticed that too. He thanked "my brothers and sisters" (the black ones) right after he thanked his wife and children, individually, by name; then he pulled grandma out from under the bus.

Half of America is falling head over heels in love with the equivalent of a carnival barker. Simply amazing. Not surprising, but amazing.

Here’s why I think it’s a hoax. If the DVD’s were for sale or available for download until just a few months ago, that means there is more than one copy available and it would already have hit the news. Secondly, the “rumor” was that she references Katrina. Obviously, she doesn’t if it’s from 2004.

You know, it’s not the “word” in any instance that is offensive, it is the “spirit” of the word, and her spirit is hateful, dark, angry and vengeful.

I agree with you on that. I was merely describing my own visceral reaction to the term “whitey”. Like, is that the best you can do?

All this crap is coming from a rumor mill. That particular "detail" is said to have originated at DailyKOS.

May explain why she was acting so demure last night during his highness’ speech. She’s been keeping a low profile.

Well, we already know all those other things, and they couldn’t stop him. So we obviously need SOMETHING....

Dear GWMcClintock et. al.,

There seem to be various versions making the rounds concerning what might be on this video.

However, Mr. Parks’ fairly detailed report doesn't contain any reference to Katrina or other post-2004 events, but rather appears more focused on the Rwandan genocide and other topics.

Thus, it's entirely possible that the tape exists.

Or not.
