I know this is a long Thread Body, but please patiently read what wisdom the Weather Channel Founder has around this scam around Global Warming.
Decisons are going to be made in the next few years which may cripple our economy, and bring us down to our knees.

Oops, and sorry, the author should be “John Coleman”. I don’t post that often.

Decisons are going to be made in the next few years which may cripple our economy, and bring us down to our knees. That is precisely the results they seek.

Al Gore is technically correct. If the earth continues to heat up at the astronomical rate of .1 degree every 100 years, we could all be dead in about 10,000 years. /sarcasm for those who really take this crap seriously.

... So now the President of the United States, just about every Governor, most Senators and most Congress people, both of the major current candidates for President, most other elected officials on all levels of government are all riding the Al Gore Global Warming express. That is one crowded bus ..."
Which needs to be forcefully hurled off the highest cliff.

I agree, but with such a small minority of us, what can we do?

Where do you get that we are a minority?....the only problem I see is that we don’t have a mouthpiece. There are many many people who have not gotten on the band wagon...we just need a voice...and a way of disseminating the truth...LOUDLY, CLEARLY AND EFFECTIVELY

Thank you for posting this. Read every word, and it was worth it. I’m proud to say I have NEVER bought into the Global Warming scam, but I have relatives who are believers. I enjoyed Carbon Belch Day, did you?

"My mission, in what is left of a long and exciting lifetime, is to stamp out this Global Warming silliness and let all of us get on with enjoying our lives and loving our planet, Earth."
I think it is that important. How is this fight going to be fought?
We need to discredit as many scientists as possible. Push them in the public eye for their misinformation. Get the fear instilled into the scientific community. Once the money can be followed the true will emerge.

Some will have to stand tall, and do what is necessary.
What were the numbers of supporters in the American Revolution?
Less than half.

Let me illustrate. I estimate that this square in front of my face contains 100,000 molecules of atmosphere. Of those 100,000 only 38 are CO2; 38 out of a hundred thousand. That makes it a trace component. Let me ask a key question: how can this tiny trace upset the entire balance of the climate of Earth? It cant. Thats all there is to it; it cant.
You tell 'em John.
Show's how easily people can by duped.

I agree, but with such a small minority of us, what can we do? With the current sun spot activity at a such a low, many who study the phenomenon are beginning to think we might be headed into another "Maunder Minimum". If this proves to be true, the resulting cool down, with the inevitable ice and snow that will follow, should put the "warmers" in such a pickle that even the casual observer will realize these AGW folks are nothing more than snake oil salesmen.....

I can still hear his voice. I grew up with him at the weatherman in Chicago.

you’d think the past cold winter west of the Appalachians would be the best way of disseminating the truth, just as the supposed anomaly of Katrina was the best way of disseminating the lie. What we really need is a very cold winter in the east, maybe below zero 1/20/09 in D.C., to shut the face of either of the frauds on the stand of the west front of the Capitol, and several on stage dignitaries going to the hospital with pneumonia.

The battle against fossil fuels has controlled policy in this country for decades.
...and the real question, when will the silliness stop. When will the Congress and candidates for President, stop believing in this myth?
It is just mind boggling to watch the stupidity, and wonder what life would be like if the public allowed our representatives to trample life liberty and the pursuit of happiness even more than at present.
