Thank you, SE Mom, those are special insights from Tony’s father. God bless and console Jim Snow at this sorrowful time, lost his wife and his son to evil cancer.
How beautiful that Tony rallied a bit towards the end. This is not uncommon, I think, his last gift to those he leaves behind....
So much to love and admire about the man. Tony, we hardly knew ye.....

I was not saying he gave up sorry if it came over as that. What I was saying and obviously did not say it very well was that I believed he realised it was a distinct possibility that he might not make old bones.
From what is being said or not said I would agree that it was probably an infection that got him in the end and I am certain he was always aware that this was possibility at any time.
That is all I was saying, I am certain he was committed to life and beating this up until the end.
