It is so painful to lose a good and honest man. More so because they seem to be fewer and fewer in number during ‘these times’. The loss of one good soul seems even more devastating because of this. I fully understand that, near the end of this age, ‘Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,....’, so much so that the loss of one good and honest soul is so acutely felt and so painful. I grieve for his family’s loss, oh yes!, but even more for the rest of us. One more ‘light’ is extinguished. Evil thrives in the darkness of this world. We need all the points of light we can get. Big sigh here!
Tony kept so much of what he was enduring private. It was his battle to fight, and his duty to come to grips with . That he was able to do so, and maintain his cheerful good nature, should be a lesson for us all. I wish I were more like him....but sadly, I’m not. I struggle. I, we, need all the good examples we can get. Tony Snow was just that. A fine example of how to live a good and positive life.
Tragedies and difficulties happen to all of us. It is a clear sign of Tony’s good character that he succeeded so brilliantly. He lived and died a positive, wonderful man.

Good to see so many wonderful people on the same thread to pay tribute to a special man.
I have nothing to add that hasn’t already been said, so I simply offer a prayer. God Bless to Tony and his family and friends.

In many ways the Levin thread is like the Snoq thread, it’s FRiends who like to get together and listen to the show even though we get off-topic...! :)
As much as I love the Levin thread I will always miss the Snow Show thread. They are both unique.

Not long ago when I saw him, he looked very good. I hope more money will be assigned for cancer research instead of some of the nonsense projects on AIDS and other cool issues.
My world will be less without Tony’s reason and uncommon common sense. He had the rare ability to have millions of friends he had never met. I have lost a friend I didn’t know. My deepest sympathy to his family.
R.I.P. Tony. First heard him years ago subbing for Rush, he was the reason I started listening to conservative talk radio.
He was a special man, I will really miss him. This is just so very sad. My prayers for his family, friends and other loved ones.
